Olive Garden has become just another FAST FOOD dining experience. This restaurant has been operating for 1826 days or 5 years in business of repetitive grease after grease after grease on plate after plate after plate. These are the 10 most important concerns ---------------1.Restaurant dish washing machine DOES NOT SCRUB PLATES, GLASSES, DINING-WARE.2.Found stuck on previous food grease and tomato sauce on my plate.3.Found stuck on slime, syrup and grease on glasses, THE ENTIRE GLASS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, INSIDE AND OUTSIDE.4.Stained, spotted forks and knives.5.There is no importance of hygiene of clean shining plates and glasses for serving food and drinks anymore.6.There are no restaurants in the business of providing clean food preparation serving standards.7.The grime, grease and scum is passed on to the next customer over and over again and again day after day night after night with absolutely no preoccupation from kitchen management team.8.Olive Garden follows repetitive daily automated machine dish-washing with zero supervision whether grease and previous food was washed correctly.9.Absolute lack of supervision of plate, bowl, glass, knife, fork proper clean condition.10.The only concern for restaurants is keeping tables full and reap profits at the end of the closing hours.NONE of these concerns were addressed with the waitress.Next:The waitress was very prompt, friendly and courteous. The problem is that she did not provide the correct monetary change in return. Bill was paid with $100.00 and was returned $10.00 whole less dollars than the correct change.Approached waitress to explain to her that the change was wrong and she apologized. However upon returning the exact change back, she could not find the key to the cash box or the person responsible for the cash box to provide me with the EXACT CHANGE.Waitress returned $2.00 less than the entire change - AND - she inappropriately asked if a tip was going to be given so she could afford the excuse of keeping the $2.00 that she was unable to return completely. My father accompanied me to dine in - commented to him about the concerns of sanitation and money returned and he became furious. He asked to speak with the supervisor. The supervisor was very courteous and he acknowledged that the restaurant ONLY washes and dries dishes BY MACHINE - NOT BY HAND.The supervisor - manager did apologize and said he was sorry for the inconvenience. The restaurant manager provided us with a $50.00 Olive Garden activated GIFT CARD for the trouble we encountered while dining in at the restaurant.STILL - The problem will not change. Why? Because the general management orders arrive from the corporate system. Kitchen cooks, waiters, waitresses, managers and supervisors locally HAVE NO SAY, NO CONTROL, NO AUTHORITY to change or improve the cleaning standards. My recommendation -EAT AT HOMEScrub your own dishes.Scrub your own glasses.Wash your own forks and spoons.Wash your own pots, pans and cooking ware.Clean and disinfect ALL surfaces and prepare your food AT HOME.Buy your own meals and prepare them AT HOME.I understand that everyone has to work and life has become very fast paced, fast here, fast there and the population everywhere become hungry and wish to have warm healthy food. This is EVEN MORE AN EXCUSE to apply the healthiest sanitation standards ever.THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE TOP COUNTRY IN THE WORLD IN HYGIENE.But in the restaurant business especially large chain restaurants like Olive Garden the only priority apparently and to my like to my eyes is profit without concern for hygiene.Thank you to Jose Carlos Cantu the Supervisor or General Manager of Olive Garden for listening to all the concerns mentioned to him at the end of our meal.
Food was great nice and fresh :) probably the best temperature of food I've ever had at any olive garden. Downside is our server did great the first 25mins in and then after that came 1x and then never again. Neither my friend nor I even got one single refill on our drinks and since he never came again she wasn't able to get a soup refill. We paid early and tipped early unfortunately....she then added a dessert to her order to go and it NEVER came until she flagged down another employee to ask if her desserts were ready . We felt rushed by our server and even thought the restaurant was closing but to find out it have 1hr 15mins left still. So thank you cook :) but not pleased with server
Today my fiancé and I came in for dinner in as usual to celebrate our monthversary. Yes we celebrate every month eating at our favorite restaurant Olive Garden. And let me just say our experience today was amazing. Our waitress name Michelle in the Brownsville location was such an awesome attentive server. It was 10:30pm when we arrived, we knew exactly what we were going to order when she came and Although it was almost closing time she still served us very well and checked in on us as if we were her first customers. She was very friendly, polite, with good manners, and spoke respectfully. She never rushed us like other places do. Me and my fiancé we very happy and pleased this evening with her service and will definitely be asking for her again!??
I love that they took the time to listen to our needs. My son has food allergies, and we were made aware that they take this very seriously. The menu was explained to us thoroughly with what he could eat. The chef and manager advised that even though they have allergen information online, they didn't mind explaining it to us. We have another restaurant we can go eat at.
I wasn't going to leave a review for the reason I didn't want there to be a long line of customers that would make it difficult to get a table. However I thought about it more and didn't think it would be fair that they didn't get that praise for how good it was. I ordered the Toscana Soup and it was very flavorful. Made me want to return again after the first bite. When you here you get the better flavors. I've been to other Olive gardens and this by far has better tasting food. Service was nice as well . Thank you Daniel ! Thanks and compliments to the chef! Sorry I didn't get the the chef's name !

Nice place if you want classical Italian food. Average prices; is possible to have meetings there (birthdays). Waiters get overwhelmed if there are a lot of people.
Food was good. Disappointed with the portion. Do not order take out. It’s best if you eat there.
When we arrived we were allowed to choose a table other than the one that the employee took us to. Our server Edith was wonderful! She anticipated our needs and suggested ideas that made our eating experience much better. Soup and breadsticks were hot and delicious.
We were seated right away, had really good service and the food was wonderful. My date and I shared a Shrimp Fritto Misto and a Tour of Italy, and with the salad and bread sticks she actually took some leftovers home. The only negative experience was being charged $6.29 for a single 12oz of bottle of Sam Adams Boston Lager that wasn't very cold. They should post the prices of their drinks on their menu.We enjoyed the food, will visit again soon and I highly recommend rhe Shrimp Fritto Misto!
