This is hands down the BEST BBQ in Brownsville. Delicious, HUGE servings, great price and exceptional service!
If you are traveling to Brownsville or live this place is a must!! The brisket and sausage is amazing and perfect flavor! The beans are very good and have an amazing taste especially with slices of sausage. Staff is very friendly!!!??
I really wanted to like it from all the good reviews. Texas toast is bread, not toast. Meat was so dry. Mac n cheese dry.. Asked for the bacon and got the brisket mac. The potato salad and cream corn was so good. Not worth the $ for a dry, flavorless sandwich. For the $20 i spent, should have gone to roadhouse.
This place is a hidden gem. A great place to eat authentic Texas BBQ. The 3 meats plate with 2 sides was a feast for under $20 including tax. The sliced brisket just melts in your mouth. I highly recommend that you give this restaurant a try!
Took a bite of the brisket sandwich only to taste fat. Lots of fat, very little meat. Contacted them and gentleman offered a replacement meal. He personally dropoed it off. It was better better tasting.
The food is fantastic lots of great and different sides. Great carry out or eat in.

Tried this place out which I had been wanting to stop by every time I past by there. I had el chuy w/Mac and cheese. It was really good and tasty enjoyed it and talked to Arturo for a bit, really nice guy. I shall be going back..
I’m a big fan of the food here. I’m not a expert, but I’ve had a lot of good BBQ. I was able to try several things from the menu and everything I ate was gold (delicious.)The brisket (I ate the moist) was hands down in the top 5 best places I’ve tried. They put brisket on most things for example I highly recommend the brisket nachos and the brisket grilled cheese sandwich. Let me go back and touch on the nachos for second. The key to good nachos is a good chip they have to be the right thickness because if too thin they get soggy to quick or break when trying to eat a loaded up chip. The chips were on point and held up through the meal and then some. Brisket on grilled cheese!! What a great idea this was perfect for a light lunch or quick bite. The brisket Mac n cheese was also great.Most BBQ places do sausage well and this place is no exception, the sausage was juicy and delicious. The last item on the list is the potato salad and it was also good and did not disappoint.If you are in town or within 100 miles it’s worth the drive. Definitely adding O’so Gud BBQ to my must eat places when visiting The Valley or SPI.
