Tacos here are mediocre now. Service is always good. Fast and friendly and consistent but what's not consistent is the tacos. Order is always incorrect or the tacos are not how I asked. I got my order and wondered why it was expensive when I looked, they charged me for 10 tacos when I asked for 6. Granted, they did served me 10 tacos but I'd rather pay for 6 and get 6. Another time, they forgot avocado on 2 of my usual 6. ?
Wow! Super surprised of how much this tacos have changed. This use to be my favorite place to eat at when I would visit family. I would always bring co-workers. But taco are nasty now No flavor and ugly cheese. The beans it’s like I asked for meat and beans instead of beans with meat. Then look at that barbacoa dirty as hell. Looked like it was days old. Had a funky taste. Super sad to see how much this place changed after of years of not coming.I can’t tell you this much I won’t be back because of the food and workers saying ugly comments.
I truly cannot believe how many stars this place has. Its either family and friends ratings or people are screwed up after covids after math with there bad taste buds.Im sorry, I am a very honest person and when theres great food i like to post and brag about it, but this place is not what it says it is. Specially being right on the border. Im like wow..! To start, the beans are taste less and have no type of real authentic mexican charro beans taste and the ones with cheese and meat are worse! The tacos de bistek are edible, but like Jim Carey said on liar liar "I HAD BETTER"! No joke though! I would not go back or recommend anyone to waste there money here. Besides that the service was ok.??
The tacos have los their true flavor. Mr. Taco is now using yellow corn tortillas for there tacos which is not that good for taste that have transitioned to the upper valley style of tacos . It have been a long time since I had gone here and I will not eat here again...anytime soon unless regular white corn tortillas are available...
The Taco Pirata and Gringa tacos were amazing! Best I’ve ever had. The Frijoles Especiales (beans with beef) were great too.
The food here is amazing and you get a good amount for what you pay as well. The only reason I traded it for Starz it's because of the small accommodations when wanting to dine in. They are busy the majority of the day once they get up and running and stay pretty packed until near the end of the night when they close.
Very good tacos and very fast service. I haven't been here in a while but I am glad I came. I had al pastor and barbacoa tacos. The al pastor were slightly greasy and the barbacoa didn't have a lot of flavor but the house made sauces made up for it. The frijoles especiales were very good too.
Best tacos ever! Did not disappoint! Fantastic!! Will definitely visit again! Clean restaurant and restrooms. Food was delicious, and the service was excellent!
First of all, I apologize for not taking pictures. The tacos were soo good, that as soon as they hit my table I started eating them. Nowhere else will you find tacos like in this place. There are others that are good, but not Mr. Taco good! I got me an order of 6 tacos of bistec an 3 others of tripas (tripe). A side of frijoles especiales ( special beans bowl), which are charro beans with bistec, avocado slices, an queso fresco (white cheese, fresh cheese). An topped it with a natural lemonade. My waitress was on top of everything an the service was amazing. All in all, I'd give this place 6 stars if given the option.
Best tripa tacos so far. I liked that I was able to drive into the parking lot and the waitress took my order and waited inside my vehicle. This particular time their beans a la charra were a bit beyond salty, les fallo. The rest of the tacos and salsa made up for it.
