This place used to be a favorite. But this time, the food was too salty and the fried rice was flavorless, the food just wasn’t good at all- mediocre at best. We paid, left a tip and left. We definitely feel like we completely wasted 40$. Our server was sweet and kind, she asked if we wanted boxes for the meals we picked at but of course, we didn’t. Save your money, your better off getting a little Caesar’s pizza across the plaza.
Asked about vegan options. They recommended a tofu and mixed veggie dish with garlic.. had ordered that with a non vegan meal. Unfortunately I imagine the tofu was deep fried with the chicken from my other dish, because a piece of the chicken ended up in the tofu dish.. which in turn lead to a very upset vegan girlfriend. I will say that this lotus is still my preferred one of the 3 we have. But I just can't help feel it was intentional just to "stick it to the vegans".
Needs new management on top of unprofessionalism server has more respect that the manager . Walked In had a issue as soon as I walked with the manager I don't know what my family and I did .We are regulars and then to top it off there is a bug in my drink and she didn't even seem bothered she kept saying repeatedly that it was un intentional and that was not because of ealier
Not bad for being on the Mexican Border. The Chinese Communist Party plexiglass and masks still seem to be the fad. The staff were attentive and friendly. The eggrolls were not the best. Basically your standard frozen ones you can get in any freezer section at any store. The BBQ ribs were really good though. This restaurant is all in all pretty good.. The selection is not bad, the flavors are outa the ordinary for the Valley! Bottom line, it's a good spot for Chinese food in Brownsville.
I love this place. It doesn't matter which one you go to. The one on Boca Chica, Alton Gloor or 10st in McAllen, they are all really really good. The service can be a little slow sometimes but the food is worth the wait. It definitely beats all the Harlingen sit down Chinese restaurants and I don't believe there are any other sit downs in Brownsville. Everything is a buffet now days, yuk. But the food is good, I strongly recommend trying all their locations and finding the one you like best. I love the one on Alton Gloor.

Solid chinese food. Orange chicken, veggie lo mein, shrimp dumplings were quite good. Kung po chicken didnt have much flavor. Egg rolls were good but they didnt give any duck sauce. Overall definitely good food.
Terrible!!! Placed order 40 minutes prior to our arrival. They had us waiting in line for 45 minutes before we finally got to the window. Waitress at window unapologetic. Manager on phone stated they were short staffed . Don't waste your time on this place.
Today, the service was terrible. I waited for more than 30 minutes for my food and nothing. How long does it takes to prepare steak and broccoli?
Only 1 table of guest, 2 servers we got seated asked what we wanted to drink them proceeded to wait 10 min as we watched our server and other carry on conversation without serving our drinks much less taking our own order walked out won't be going back
