Very bad. Thought we'd sample the food, before making the decision to cater event in Wisconsin. Food was cold, it tasted like it was pulled out of fridge put on grill just to give it that grilled look. Beans, corn, mac and cheese were cold. Someone has to look into this, before somebody gets sick.
We ordered the plate that feeds two. It was approx $44.00. We were s party of four they served the other couple and we waited for our order. A waiter brought the coleslaw and about 10 minutes later the platter showed up incomplete. If you order an item then they need to serve it as a meal for two. They forgot about the cornmeal muffins and no corn. When we got those items it seemed like they just pulled out of the. Refrigerator very cold! We woul do never have been served like this in KC, KS Famous Dave’s. Very poor service. I use to live Famous Dave’s but will have to see if we can find something comparable. Very dissatisfied.
The address shows Johnny coreno. Really socks really wanted to try it but can't find there location
Never again. I just spent 50 bucks on the family feast. The chicken was more like beef jerky over cooked, dry. The corn was cold beans were cold. The serving is not like the picture. Food was horrible im a chef and I would never ever serve my customers this food. I will not be going back to this place. Plus one the quarter legs was half raw. That's a big no no. One was dry and the other undercooked.
I tried to call the store 5x's. No one answered the phone, Because I was missing muffins and chicken. It's a shame you can't get a order right.New****Everytime I call it rings 8 times then hangs up. ****
We use to frequent Famous Dave's when we lived in AZ. Admittedly, when we heard of this location we were skeptical. Thankfully to our surprise almost every thing was cooked just like we remembered. The ribs fell off the bone and were full of flavor. The brisket was so good and fell apart as you picked it up. The chicken skin did look dark almost burnt and I was afraid to try it but it was very juicy and full if flavor. So good!!! I know the valley has their own way and view of bbq so I wont bother comparing, but I highly recommend you give this a try.The only 2 complaints I have is.. 1. We ordered the All American bbq feast. There was literally only a small order of fries there and its suppose to feed 4-6 people . In AZ they are not stingy with the fries at all! There are always enough fries to go around even extra. 2nd the beans. The beans are different. I am not sure if they tried to "spice" them up or change them up because this is the valley, but I prefer the original. We will be back regularly and more once they have dine-in.
The ribs were terrible they were hard and chewy, the worst I've ever had. The pull pork sandwich was not much of a sandwich with only 1 bread slice. I should have read the reviews before I ordered, lesson learned.
First time visit. Ordered to-go. Ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of fries, two corn bread muffins and a strawberry cheese cake. The brisket was for me and rest was for my dad. Because I was driving and I was super hungry, I picked at the meat without adding the sauce I was provided. Believe me the meat was so flavorful it did not need the BBQ sauce. Soooo good. I normally don't eat fries unless I am in the mood for fries and even then I normally don't eat many of fries when I do order them. Their fries are large wedges but they are crispy and tasty.I will definitely order again. Next time I will make sure to order something different until I go through their menu. I don't want to cheat myself of something that might taste better to me from their menu.
Door dash strikes again. This appears to be a recurring issue. I was given another customers order from a different place and the driver never came back after he took back the wrong order.
Same issue as the review before, except this time it was a whole appetizer! Wonder if anyone even pays attention there?
