I haven’t had any other pastry aside from the macaroons. I got the chocolate, strawberry red velvet, and orange with chocolate filling. I wouldn’t recommend them. They were either from previous days (not freshly made) or person who bakes hasn’t perfected them yet. (I purchased them today 2/27/2022) They fell apart as soon as they were bitten into.
Very moist and soft. Love this topping . Perfect for this weather today. They have a great variety of cupcakes too.
Love this cake shop because The employees are so sweet and always willing to help me, they also offer a great variety of cake decorating supplies which is very helpful, this is definitely my go to spot for supplies
Not recommend at all. >:( Cake was smaller than my hand and payed $50 for colors I didn’t ask for. It had a paper dinosaur as a decoration. It was given to me in a box that wouldn’t close. Never again will I go there.
Please do not support this ladys buisness, she is very ignorant and does not support our veterans or the U.S military.
Great variety of Desserts and Supplies
Wow! Originally I didn't want a wedding cake because usually I am disappointed by how dry they are. I'm glad that I ended up getting a cake at D'event. First of all the cake looked exactly like the reference photo that we asked for and it was delicious!
I was in a journey and in a hurry to find a cake specialty bakery shop. Went to Gloria's cakes in Harlingen and my daughter birthday was 2 weeks away and they told me they weren't taking any more cake orders. Will my business is not wanted there and won't go there anymore. So I surely made the right decision by going to D'event Cake Shop. They told me right away yes and made a beautiful and great tasting cake for my 24 year old daughter day. My family asked who made it and I mentioned D'event and were amaze of how beautiful and great tasting cake it was. I will be going again for other special events that will be coming up for their beautiful cakes. The Satisfaction and how by the photo I wanted the cake to look and the flavors were to perfection. I will definitely recommendD'event for cake ordering for anyone including family and friends.
