Good food. 80's atmosphere when I went. If you like BBQ it's a most visit.

We are from Missouri, and can say that 1848’s BBQ rivals what you’d find in Kansas City or St Louis. The moist brisket was perfect, nice smoke ring and melt in your mouth tender. The pulled pork had a nice bark and great flavor, not dried out. Their coleslaw was a welcome change from what we find locally, with a spicy kick at the end, but not overpowering. Friendly staff, clean place and quick service. It’s worth stopping for!
Ordered a brisket sandwich and water and it was 15.00. The sandwich was smaller than a Whataburger Jr. Left there hungry. Better off going to Longhorn or Rudys.
Food wad delicious, loved that they had a pickle bar. Wish they had fountain drinks tho.
Ordered 2 brisket plates with 2 sides, meat was served cold/room temp and the sides were kinda warm. Visited on a Saturday evening. Food might have been delicious if served warn. Sauce was good. Prices are different than listed on their website.
