TABU has delicious cuisine from a chef who clearly cares about each plate that hits her table. The comfort food pairing tacos are fantastic. Mac and Cheese on a taco? Yes! I asked for the curry bowl to be made into a taco, and with no hesitation my order came out perfectly. Great for a quick lunch downtown, or a nice relaxed lunch with friends. Highly recommend!
I had a delicious bacon cheeseburger. Girlfriend had a Mahi mahi taco and a shrimp taco. Both tacos had minimal amounts of fish and shrimp.
Good little bistro with beer and wine offerings. Very clean place with excellent service. Fresh -made food came out fast. Located right downtown off the square, walking distance to all the shops.
The atmosphere is cute and food was great. Service is slow and not very attentive drinks needed refilled.
First time visit to this restaurant, in Brenham Texas. Between the four of us we had several different items, they were all delicious. Service was very good, on a busy Thursday lunchtime.Burgers were cooked just right, as well as the chicken. Their hand cut tortilla chips were great. We highly recommend this restaurant.
We were there on a Saturday night between 7-8:00 PM. Service was outstanding! Server wore a mask, restaurant was spotlessly clean as were the restrooms. We had veggie burgers, they were made with black beans and included avocado, grilled onion, bell pepper and mushrooms. Fries were crisp and not greasy. We appreciated that the food portions were reasonable, too. Food was all fresh and delicious, if we ever come back we will definitely stop in at TABU Tacos & Burgers. They obviously care about the quality of their food, the health of their staff and customers and cleanliness of their establishment! Thanks, TABU!
I had the spicy BBQ burger and it awesome. The patty had a good crust ring, the bacon was crispy, and and it all came together well. The macaroni and cheese was okay. The fries were crispy however I did wish I had a little bit more.
I finally got to try this place. Got a weird combination of things but because it was my first time. So I got carne asada fries, Two mahi-mahi tacos and a side of Mac and cheese. I will say my first time trying the mahi mahi tacos that was delicious!! I would definitely recommend. I would also recommend the carne asada fries. The Mac and cheese was not the greatest. It wasn’t very cheesy but sometimes it what someone prefers. Definitely recommend this place. I also got all that for under $30 bucks good quality food at a good quality price.
We went to see the blue bonnets and later found this TACO joint when exploring the small town. Every food is made from scratch, even the tortillas are hand made. The sauces are delicious , the vegetables and meats are cooked with the right spices. I got the vegetarian taco, hubby got the chicken & son got the fish. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food.We had good food here!
Tacos were good but tiny. Taco salad was awful with mixed greens, don't recommend. Expensive prices.
