Their ice cream was excellent today, I hope to have more soon :) Whoever is in charge of the ice cream is doing great!!
The server was kind of rude. The food that I ordered didn't taste all that great. Had too many gnats flying around you couldn't enjoy your food if it was good. The bathroom was dirty and smelly trash on the floor.
Greeted without a chance to say a word with “gonna be a minute”…. Cold, bland and the food wasn’t great either.As long as it ended up taking could have sat down in an actual restaurant and ate real food. 36 minutes for day old fries, white out flavor gravy and cardboard meat sticks… Texas toast was good though.
asked for a root beer float with very little ice cream and i got ice cream with a root beer topping. why is it hard to get a good root beer float anywhere. its a basic drink. especially when you give them directions on how to make it.
Came by at 10:20pm on 3/11/2022. The open sign was on and Google Maps showed it was serving til 11:00pm.Unfortunately I was told at the drive-thru window they were closed and didnt have time to turn off the open sign.
Oh everybody is very critical of fast food places. But it’s unnecessary. Everyone is so short staffed right now and ordering supplies is so difficult. That being said, my son and I stopped in today and the place was so clean. Our food was super fresh and hot. The service was very fast as well. I know it won’t be like that all the time boat so when it’s good it’s great. They are trying their best.
Open till 11. Yet, I'm here at 9:45 and they're closed. Once again. Store says closes at 10 and the shut down at 9, got half my order, because they shut the ice cream machine down exactly at 9. WTH? Just close the business down if you're not going to take care of your customers.
It's unfortunate that I have to leave a review like this. I went into Dairy Queen on my way to from Houston to Austin. I saw that there were two people in line ahead of me and got in line. I could hear frustration from the girl at the cash register as she took the orders in line ahead of me. She had to ask the people several times after taking their order what their order was. She made them blizzards and had no idea how to make them. They looked very sad in appearance when she handed them to the ladies. The ladies raised their eyebrows for sure when they got them. When they finally got their food, the order was missing something. The next people in line decided to leave because they were so disorganized and taking forever behind the counter, they were smarter than me. I stayed a few more mins and finally placed my order. Pretty simple, a steak finger basket with fries and extra ketchup. After 26 minutes of waiting, they asked me twice what my order was. (Mind you the whole time I'm listening to the kitchen raise their voices at each (well the manager scream at the kids making mistakes) in frustration and work on correcting mistake after mistake.) When they finally handed me my food, it was someone else's. The manager then proceeded to huff and puff and go exchange my food and tell the employee "it's a steak finger basket!!!! Very loudly) When she handed it to me I asked for a little more ketchup. She then stated "we charge for extra ketchup.." I told her I had been waiting 30 mins for my "fast food" the least she could do was give me some more ketchup. After that she began to raise her voice at me, come around the counter to get in my face and tell me to never come back. No problem, I never will. The food was hardly cooked, the gravy was lumpy and the entire staff was in need of training and a new manager. Wow!!
Dairy Queen is my favorite ice cream shop and it doesn't matter what state I'm in, it's still the best!!
Stopped in for a dip cone and blizzard, no organization with preparing food, guy behind me received his order first, then employee could not make a dip cone ....three failed attempts then asked if I wanted the cone in a cup container. My wife finally received her blizzard.....about a 20 min wait. I would not stop here again.......I understand entry level opportunities but really!!! Customers in front or me had mixed up orders as well! Will not stop at this Texas Stop sign again!!!
