The burgers are fantastic! Also had the fried okra which was fresh, crispy and hot, and the sweet potato fries which were perfectly cooked. Topped it off with a chocolate shake which was also very good. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that there were a lot of flies inside the restaurant and it was annoying having to swat them away while trying to eat.
I made the trip out from The Woodlands to try this place from a friendly recommendation, and it did not disappoint. This little burger joint is very good! We got the bacon cheeseburger, fried okra, fries, and onion rings. Finished it off with a Strawberry malt! The food was fresh and the staff was lovely. If you’re looking for a simple, fresh cooked meal, check it out! Also very happy with the prices.
Decided to stop here while traveling through. The Dairy Bar makes their own home made milk shakes and I heard they were great but I went for the chicken tenders and the burgers. I wouldn't recommend the chicken tenders but the burgers are awesome. Great place to eat and the prices are very reasonable. They also have lots of other items to choose from so definitely a good place to eat.
I love Dairy Bar's burgers, shakes and cheese fries. Their onion rings are wonderful too. Word to the wise, call in and order your food ahead, cause they are always busy!
Wish I had read the other reviews about unfriendly service before coming here, but I like to give places a chance. We walked in about 20 minutes from closing, and we’re told they weren’t taking any orders so we said okay and walked out. That was all fine, except they were definitely taking orders from the drive thru and people kept coming and putting orders as we were trying to figure out where else to go. We would’ve gladly done that, but looks like they just didn’t want our business.
Would give 0 stars if possible, wife and children stopped in today and recieved possibly the worst service we have ever experienced. Reached out to management for assistance and resolution and from there the experience went even further down hill. Manager was utterly disrespectful and demeaning to my wife, with service like this I can't imagine he has worked in customer service for very long.45 minutes for a single burger and fries, 2 milkshakes which were prepared first then sat on counter till they melted and turned into frothy smoothies.Missing items: no cheese sticks, no popcorn chicken (provided strips with no explanation).When these issues were pointed out to staff my wife was told the manager would have to assist and was currently unavailable but would reach out.Manager called 15 minutes later and refused to provide any explanation or assistance and stated only way for any refund was to come back to restaurant and return food items which weren't even given in the first place.Avoid unless you have the time to waste and wish to leave unstatisfied.
Such good cheeseburgers. And on Wednesday and Saturday they have wonderful fish plates and baskets. Also they have such good chili cheese dogs.

My husband kept telling me how great the food and prices were here and we finally had a chance to go as a family last week. I was impressed with the prices, the quantity of food and how good it was. The burgers were huge and delicious, the tater tots and french fries were generous sized portions, we had plenty of food and actually took some home for a snack the next day and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be requesting a return visit when we are in Brenham.
So delicious... The shake was awesome and the steak fries and gravy was amazing.... Popcorn shrimp was a huge serving size and they were perfectly deep fried! Love this place!
