They closed earlier than posted time and refused to take our order. I guess they were gonna keep the food for themselves.Who pays the rent over there? Not the customer. These reviews for this location indicate a long standing lack of service and hospitality to the guest. We went elsewhere to eat, since we were not welcome to eat there.Very disappointed. Where's this "Southern hospitality" I've heard so much about?
Not following the recepi as per the operations manual for the franchise. My wife and I ordered chicken strips that didnt tast like churches fried chicken. They cheated us on the proper amount of fries as well. Unless they change their ways I wouldn't bother eating there. My advice too the franchise is don't cut any corners and do the right thing and follow franchise operations. Don't short your customers and you'll notice more fott traffic. Ask your self if it's you, the product or the price. You can take it or leave it. My wife and I will never cone back. It's sad because we love churches chicken.
I LOVE Churchs Chicken..not just the chicken but the other things there as well. I look forward to the special seasonal items they offer and was pleased when I found out that they would off Texas Tenders and Fried Shrimp for a short time. Well, I WON'T be back for that special. I got in line in the drive thru and anticipated the nice meal I would have without much effort that night. I ordered the special seasonal item and went home. WAS I SURPRISED WHEN I OPENED THE BOX!!!! No gravy or dipping sauce for the tenders and no cocktail sauce or dipping sauce for the shrimp. BUT, it gets even better. I had what should be considered SIX shrimp. The shrimp while small were good but the issue was, I had three medium size shrimp and the other three were 'PIECES" I say pieces because one was the size and shape of a tater tot and the other two, if I am not mistaken, was the piece that is pulled from the tail part of a cooked shrimp. yes, they were both that small and the only redeeming feature was it wasn't the shell itself. The chicken tenders, had great flavor and were moist, however ....there were only two tenders and both of them put together would not have made a 1/2 breast!!!!! The thing I hate the most about this is that Churchs has and serves good food. I have no issue with the flavor or the cooking or issues with freshness. I love the flavor and cooking and serving of it. However, this meal did not come any where NEAR my expectation and this is not the first time this has happened. Churchs is inside the city limits away from most of the activity around the edges of Brenham, and I hate that this place may go out of business because of the issues with serving sizes. I wish that whoever is in charge of this would wake up and start treating their customers well and giving them value for the money. I will not be going back, even though they do serve good food. But, I can't buy two meals everytime I go for one, just in order to have enough to eat.
Where should I start ! The chicken was greasy and the honey roll that I normally love you could squeeze it and grease come out of it! I absolutely love church's chicken and rolls but I will.never return to this location ever again! It was $20 dollars wasted !
I was surprised and impressed by the delicious flavorful chicken that was served fresh and very well seasoned! The service was friendly and attentive. Keep it up, Church's
Great service and food still have crinckle fries and classic fried okra
I love their chicken sandwiches and crinkle fries
The food was very hot and good. It definitely was cooked fresh. I couldn't resist eating the peach pies almost burned my lip but it was good.
Great food and great, friendly service.
The workers were all kind. They took the time to go into detail of what could be more for my buck. My family enjoyed the food.
