We lived in Mexico for years and always suffer when we end up with Tex mex when hoping for authentic Mexican food. This one was not a disappointment. The tacos, quesadillas, and fajitas were all wonderful and typical. The guacamole is very good - thin style. The chilaquiles deserve their own paragraph. I will start by saying it is the largest serving I have ever seen. The chips stayed crunchy - my test - ✔️. Served with green sauce, a generous swish of cream and arrachero instead of pollo. Exquisite! The desserts were all wonderful - mango cream pie, tres leches, rice pudding. For a taste of Mexico, this is a great choice.

The spot in Brenham to get good & quick Mexican food!! I always enjoy the barbacoa quesadilla, the barbacoa gordita, and the breakfast bacon egg cheese tacos. The pineapple water is on the sweet side but once the ice melts it's perfect. Friendly owners & great service would definitely recommend to locals & travelers passing through!
