For lunch, we went to Boerne to try @lasguitarras2020 for the first time.Although they were short staffed, they accommodated us in the patio. Alyssa did a great job serving us and recommended the Chicken Raspberry Chipotle dish that Dad and I shared. It was good to have had the sauce on the side.My husband and I both had the SanGrita - he had frozen and mine was on the rocks. Delicious! We got the Guacamole Fresco small thankfully. The portion was larger than I expected. We were treated to a complimentary cup of Fideo which was a little too spicy for Dad. My husband thought the Puffy Taco was one of the best! He had the Tacos de Ribeye which was the free entrée for his birthday. We couldn't miss having the Churros for dessert!The food was filling and tasty! Coming soon to the patio - misters to keep it cool!

Just finished a late lunch ar Las Guitarras. Outstanding Tacos al Pastor and nachos, and from what I could tell from the tables around us, the rest of the menu is equally good. Service was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and more than helpful. Highly recommended!
Authentic Mexican food in a great family environment!
We wandered in after church one afternoon for brunch. They had a variety of Mexican dishes along with an omelet bar. I had enchiladas and Barbacoa tacos while my wife had tacos and an omelet. It was good not great but I’d certainly go back.
I absolutely never remember to leave reviews anywhere but I made sure to leave one for this restaurant because they are fantastic! The food is delicious and they are ridiculously fast. We sat down and immediately had drinks and chips and I’m pretty sure someone saw us eat the last chip and grabbed another basket to refill them before we even realized they were gone. The rest of the food was out in no time and the live music was awesome. Great workers, great food, great time!
After dining at the restaurant a couple of times, we recently hosted a private party in their upstairs lounge and dining room. The owner, Fernando, was easy to work with and offered plenty of choices suitable for the occasion. On the day of the event, the team was accommodating about table arrangements and decorations. The chips were crisp and plentiful, the guacamole was fresh, and the salsa is world-class. The servers were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The fajitas, etc., buffet and tres leches dessert were all excellent. Highly recommended for dining or for an event. Las Guitarras hits all the right notes!
Las Guitarras Mexican food restaurant was a wonderful little stop. They have very good enchilada plates and are more like traditional Mexican style foods. The restaurant on the inside was very unique and had very interesting displays. Nice area for sitting and eating. Did not feel overly crowded. A great place to go and sit and eat. Will certainly try to return to this little restaurant.
Husband and I ate at this restaurant for the first time yesterday for lunch. We can't say enough good things about it! Service was excellent, food was delicious, decor is awesome! Prices are about average but well worth it for portion sizes & quality of the food. Highly recommend and we will be going to try more of their specialties!
We ordered catering for an event we had this week. The owner was extremely nice and helpful when I came to pick it up. Everything was ready and they brought it to my car and loaded it for me. Everyone at the event raved about the food. Everything was delicious. I particulary loved the veggie quesadillas. The black bean dip was supurb and I liked both the regular salsa and the green salsa they gave us for the flautas. i will be going back for sure!
