It was a huge disappointment for a turkey hunt! The birds were not there like they said they would be. The pheasant tasted good except finding shot pellets in the meat. They obviously took birds and cleaned them that had been shot that hunters didn't want to keep. Two of us found pellets in our meat. The shower in the duck room was so loud you will want ear plugs . They were shooting skeet all over the place ! Might have had something to do with the shortage of turkey! They had a basic chef and the staff were loud and cutting up during service!! We were told that we would have blinds & be set up instead I was leaned up against a tree. Sometimes against a tree leaning the wrong way! I had the understanding that we would be in a blind and were guarantee a turkey! I should have shot one of the axis deer to make up for the money my wife and I wasted!!

have heard for years that this beautiful 'hunting resort' in Comfort, Tx, has an inusually high employee turnover. I wondeted how a beautiful exclusive high-end getaway would have problems keeping a full staff. ....Then i got a job there....what a joke

An absolutely beautiful range. I stopped in while in the San Antonio area and shot a round on their sporting clays range and had a wonderful experience. I would definitely stop in again the next time I am in the area.
The place is beautiful, customer services is so bad no one knows anything, the air conditioning was out and they did not know how to handle the situation, all the staff where college students, we spent the night with no air and had to be out of our room all day,!!!!! and as per your respond to my comment, you where not there, the next morning we got up early and out of the room and came back shortly after 12pm and there had been nothing done, so we left again, and yes we where very upset, it was to be a relaxing time, and no one said or used foul words to any one, the only people that even cared or where worried about us spending the night without air-con was the house keeping girls, oh and thank you i don't think i would go back to a place where owners or management don't have better customer service
