The chicken tenders were old, cold, tough, and tiny. This was the second time we've ordered from this place and they're consistently bad.
I frequent this area and have always loved Bush’s. However all 4 times I’ve been to this one it’s just been terrible all the way around. The workers barely say two words to you. Cool, whatever, I didn’t come to socialize I came for the quality of chicken that I’m used to. But every time I’m let down. The chicken tenders are extremely tough, some I can’t even bite through. They’re TINY. I’ve been to many Bush’s Chickens and I’ve never seen them this small. The rolls are always burnt too. The only thing that’s “okay” are the fries hence the 1 star. I pondered over leaving this review or not but after 4x and still disappointed, felt like it was right.
The staff that waited on me was super friendly and accommodating. The food was okay. Not sure why the baked chicken skin was black. The breast was dry and the only side I could eat was green beans. I think they were canned. It was ok but I won't go back. I've never gone to Bush's Chicken so I thought I would try it once.
I was disappointed due to I requested all white meat and when I got home it was all dark meat. If it wasn't for living so far away would have gone back.
Terrible since opening quality and service have declined to the point of absurdity. Will never go back, just terrible!!!!
Was glad to see a alternative to churches chicken in Boerne. Chicken is good without the after affects if you know what I mean.
Out of gizzards this time, last time livers. If their chicken strips get any smaller, I will be eating air. Of course the price is not going down.Had young man come out and take order dressed in a hoodie covering most of his face. Last visit to Bush’s.
Chicken was ok. Rolls yummy. Baked chicken dry. Employees messed up order. No utensils. The way the young men were dressed even in uniform looked like gang members.
My chicken was served hot, fresh, and crispy! No complaints. Also try the spicy salt they have on your bird. It's delicious!
Initial order, cold and soggy okra and pepper poppers, took whole order back they said they'd make new order, 2nd order okra was so so, poppers frozen inside soggy outside...only thing decent was the Tea.
