The bbq was okay but the Mac was great. The service was awesome from the time you walk in to the time you leave.
Born and raised in Austin, but I have no problem driving an hour away to Backyard BBQ for the best BBQ around. Definitely worth the trip. They are a cash only establishment, but have an ATM on site for convenience. I keep finding myself coming back for their Bubba Fries Deluxe!P.S. Their ribs are so tender you can quite easily pull the bones straight out!
One word. Perfection!! Best burger in a long time, and the best part is that it is a great way to support your local small businesses ? ?
3/25/22 Burger was super dry, almost burnt. I stopped coming here during the peak of COVID because the staff wasn’t wearing masks. My first time coming back my Chicken Fried Chicken was legitimately burnt. I’m just tired of paying for burnt food
I wish I would have gotten photos, but let me just say this is the best BBQ place around. It’s been so long since I’ve had meat that just falls apart. Everything we had was so flavorful and juicy. The ribs truly do fall off of the bone. The only thing I can say I wasn’t a fan of was the chocolate cake, it was so dry and seemed like it had been frozen a while. But other than that our experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend if you are looking for some good local BBQ.
Came over here to backyard barbecue to get some carnivore grub. Tired of all those fancy places downtown. I have to admit I expected a backyard and it being a nice spring day I was looking forward to sitting at a picnic table outside. Unfortunately there was no real outdoor seating except maybe a couple tables out front next to the road but they did a picnic tables inside.I got the large two meat plate with sides and it was a lot of food actually! It was pretty tasty moist and high-quality.I’ll definitely come back again!
I ordered the catfish and all I can say is I'm disappointed, the fish itself isn't awful but it's very bland and the seasoning has the texture of sand. It would be a 2 star but the fries were amazing so I'm leaving a 3
Can't ever go wrong with Backyard BBQ. Everything is good from the Bubba fries to the burritos and sandwiches, but they have the most mouth-watering BBQ chicken it is so good you could slap your momma lol. We got the 3 meat and my daughter and I both ate on it and still brought most of it home. My son got the catfish sandwich and it was huge
Had burgers today, they were great, drinks are strong, prompt service.
All good. Freshly made. Good portion too.
