The food is good! When I ask for a ground beef dish, I expect it. The meat in my chimi was harder than I expected. It could lean meat which from experience can be harder in texture than fatty ground beef. I thought I was eating beef tips which I became sad about & at the same time understood at least, I hope. I would go back again though. The environment seems to be nice for a sporting event, family outing, or a night out on the town.
They worked really hard for our large group. Food was slow coming out (even though preordered), but very tasty! Personally, i thought the taco shell for my crispy taco was a bit thick. Enchiladas were good.The group room was a bit small for us, but seating was good. No bumping neighbors.
Absolutely horrible service. Wait staff walk through the restaurant as slowly as possible with vacant expressions as if walking up to a casket at a funeral. They do not appear to care if patrons are happy or even attended to.They have had this lackadaisical attitude toward service for years, so it’s not the pandemic. This last weekend, my husband and I sat for 20 minutes at least after being seated on the patio before going inside to ask someone to assist us with drinks and food. The expressionless waitress said “okay, give me a minute” then walked away and did absolutely nothing. Another waitress (who had passed us at least three times already over about 25 minutes) stopped by our table on the way to clean off a neighboring table to say hello to our dog, then went about her duties, ignoring our presences completely.I am a front of house veteran, having worked every front of house job there is, so I take this kind of treatment really seriously. They weren’t too busy, they were too lazy. Owner(s) should be ashamed of their lack of management.Not only will we not be eating here again, we will be warning everyone we know NOT to give this establishment their business. There are just too darn many Tex Mex places for these silly folks to be pretending to be in business instead of actually putting in a hard day’s work.
I enjoy coming to this restaurant so much I drive for it. Never had issues with the food even when I come with big groups. But today while the food was fantastic the server was not. No introduction so I have no clue who she even is. Got up to go to the restroom and the moment I sat back down she’s immediately asking what we want. Didn’t ask if we were ready to order just what do you want to eat. when an issue with my drink was brought up instead of oh my bad let me fix that this lady just stared at us like well what do you want me to do? And once fixed she don’t clear the old drink so it just sat there for no reason. Barely spoke to us but spent 5 plus minutes chatting with the ladies sitting behind us. I work customer service, I worked food. I hate leaving another waitress without a tip but barely civil services don’t get tips.Edit: just saw the name on the receipt. Apparently Sharon is her name.
Today I took my family out to dinner and we decided to come here for dinner and since we walked through the doors everyone has a mean face and not friendly at all . As soon we were at our table no one came to greet us or take our drink order for over 10 mins . The whole time employees would walk in front of our table without acknowledging us at all , to me that’s horrible customer service and this is not the first time that we get this horrible treatment. If your employees are that unhappy they should look for employment else where than. And than to top our dinner experience when the lady came to deliver our food there was a hair on my plate and she was bothered by it and that should’ve been taken off our ticket. Please people stay away from this place.
Wonderful staff. I am a regular for a reason. I love that you get both black beans and salsa with your chips! I really enjoy the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. I ask for extra jalapenos and real sour cream on the side. I sub out the rice for double black beans, and when the food arrives, I carefully remove the tortillas, and mix it all up. It's not exactly keto, but it's absolutely delicious!!! (Yeah, the chips at the beginning are definitely not keto, but I justify them a little by not having the tortillas! ?)
The MARGARITAS!!!! They are super fantastic! The food is delicious also but the margaritas are where they shine. I also really like the black beans that they serve with the chips and salsa. Every dish that I have ordered here has all been good.
Great food. Stake fajitas are very good. Ask for the chef special, it is rice with a chicken breast made with cilantro and lime, very good. Their black bean dip is also very good. Great place to eat and have a margarita.
Ate there yesterday. The food was horrible. Tamales were dry. Enchiladas were over cooked. But we just left the food n paid the bill knowing we would never go there again. So I paid the 57.00 bill just to find they over charged my card. And when I tried to call and tell them they acted like they didn't understand English. I was told someone would call me by 6pm yesterday to discuss this matter but no phone call ever came!!!! Do not go there n if you do pay with cash!!!!
The food was typically Tex Mex. It wasn't outstanding but it wasn't bad. The worst part is they're overcharging for a skinny margarita. Typically they're $8-9 at places. Charging $14 for the same amount of liquid just in a very tall glass is ridiculous. My drunk cost more than my food and the drink wasn't that great.
