Absolutely the worst store in the chain. The cleanliness was questionable as all the unoccupied 4-tops were stacked with dirty dishes. We had to set our table as we could reach the silverware but could not get someone to set our table. We received our drinks after the first 10 minutes and we were never offered any refills the remainder of our visit. None of the orders, which came out much later than the two groups that came in after ours, was right. We were presented with the same wrong dishes multiple times. None of our orders received their meat until we pointed it out.Please note 5-people working and maybe a total of 20 people in restaurant. Our party had 8 of those and we received the worst service we have ever had at any establishment ever.The busboy took our order after emptying the trash in the bathrooms. That was the last time anyone came to check on us without our prompting.True examples:Order 1: 2 scrambled eggs and toast (never received)Order 2:. Sausage, ham, double order of hashbrowns (never received hashbrowns, meats came 10+minutes apart)Order 3: 2 eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns, toast with extra toast (only 1 egg, half order of toastOrder 4: All-Star with grits (was served with hashbrowns and never got grits)This is not all but an example of half our orders.Everything we eventually did receive was because we asked multiple times. Sometimes we were just ignored and others we were heard but not listened to. None of our orders was complete or correct.Not sure where others reviews are as this place would receive negative stars if possible. Nothing went right. Even though partial meals were comped we were left hungry and extremely dissatisfied. Customer service was simply non-existent!UPDATE:. I was contacted by "corporate" about all the issues. Explained to the gentleman that I would update my review upon follow through. I was told that they would review and handle the issues at the location. I was given assurances and the offer of coupons to get me back. No-go on the coupons and have not been back to Texas. Beaumont, in general, will not ever be on any future plans for me! Follow through never happened. End of story.
To say that this was the WORST Waffle a house I have ever been to would be an understatement. The “staff” was rude, regrading and incompetent. I placed a very simple order of two scrambled eggs and toast and never received my order. Our other guests received half, wrong or no orders as well. The store was dirty, and in disarray. Other patrons who entered the premise after us were seat and waited on promptly. Also receiving their orders well before we did. Their orders of steak and pork chop were cooked, delivered and packaged up before we were served. Do not recommend this place if you are from out of town.
Waitress seemed new and relied on the cook to help her with everything. Cook should be promoted in my opinion to management. He was patient and told her what needed to be done and how to call the order even when she picked up her phone a few times.. He told her "you working or need to go? If you're working I recommend you attend to your customers and leave your phone." He was 100% correct because I noticed she was just there and not seemed to want the job.. nonetheless we tipped on to go order and told the cook 1/2 tip us for him. Food was good!
Sooooo pricey. It's good food yes I agree. Although there are times they're off on orders or special instructions if it ain't on the picture on the plastic menu the cook might not be Hooked on Phonics or what have you. For instance, we went in there about a month-and-a-half ago and they had no gravy and no butter. Above All Else how can you not have butter at The Waffle House anyway that was not the case this time but my husband got the Grand Slam which was supposed to be on special and I got the hash brown bowl with double mushrooms and then all of the stuff that's already supposed to be included and my husband got one extra waffle we got two drinks and the price was $49. Crazy thing is we went in and ordered it because we were taking it to go on our road trip and they told us it would be a little bit so he came back outside to the vehicle to wait with me. AFTER the food was finished cooking and they had bagged it all up we saw the bags on the counter. As my hubby was summoned to come pay,, we were dropped with that price the food was already made what we were going to do then it was like 2:15 in the morning? There's a reason they don't take orders over the phone but for $49 and if you have to eat it there there are def. no extra frills best believe 50 bucks at a waffle house I mean does the waffle break dance ? Good food too much money.

Manager was cooking, and complaining the entire time we were there. Staff had horrible attitudes and the food was horrible so burnt I took pictures to text out.
Food was good hot and served fast. Was there around midnight and the guy that served the food was nice never let my coffee or drink cup get below half.
I stay in Beaumont every other week, this restaurant is directly in front of the hotel i use. Ive been giving the benefit of the doubt my last 2 weeks of stays here, but today im at cracker barrel.Yesterday and my visit prior, when i arrive theres more staff than customers, floors trashed, all empty tables are dirty, my last visit i had to listen to an area manager yelling about how good of a cook he was while i timed 11 min to get a coffee refill.Yesterday my table was dirty where i sat, didnt get acknowledged for over 5 min, a server that wasnt mine got me a coffee at 10min, again as many staff as customers. The gentleman who got my coffee wiped my dirty sticky table with a dry napkin. The table adjacent when it was wiped, it was wiped on the floor which hadnt been swept in a whiile.Where i went today, prices are same, i was greeted, it was clean. Ill just keep coming here when im in town.Yall need some pride in what you do, and standards. Sorry but it is what it is
Service was terrible. Waitress more interested hanging with the crew than serving. 30 min for a waffle. 10 min to get a drink. No soap in the ladies room. Just aweful!
