We ate here today for our Dad's birthday today. We haven't been here for a while so giving it another chance. The restaurant was clean but it seemed like the AC needed a little worked due to it was a little warm. There only 2 cooks so the wait for lunch was a little slow. As for as the food was concerned it was okay. The fried rice was a little overcooked. The cook was friendly and funny at the hibachi.Overall the experience was nice the food was a little overcooked and not seasoned very well.
Excellent every time. This is the original location, but all three locations have the same high quality and great service. The hibachi grills are fun for kids and groups of 8 or less.Best sushi in the area.
I'm disappointed, Tokyo use to be one of my favorite places in town to go and the food was always amazing. This time, both the service and food were a little off.We did not get utensils nor napkins when we were seated and had to ask for both multiple times. Service was slow, but it was also very busy. The rolls we ordered were okay, but I didn't love them like I normally do. The rainbow roll didn't hold together like I expect a roll to do. The spider roll was also disappointing, although I can't put my finger on what it was that turned me off to it. The steak and shrimp were overcooked by more than a little, and both the ginger dressing for the salad and ginger sauce were off. Too salty, perhaps? I guess it's good that they're making those in house, probably just an off night.I'm willing to give them another try and revise this score when next I'm in town though.
I quote my Wife, " We will never eat here again" after eating at one of her favorite restaurants. We were seated, A few minutes later we ordered our drinks and a crunch roll, the table next to us was seated about 10 minutes after us, they ordered their drinks and a crunch roll, about 15 minutes later the table next to us got their crunch roll, 10 minutes later we received our roll, about 30 minutes later we received our plates(Hibachi Scallops and Teriyaki Steak) with steam coming off the plates, I dive into my first Scallop and its barely warm, I grab a scrimp and ice cold(not sure if was supposed to be, but I was expecting a hot grilled shrimp), the vegetables were the only thing that was hot. My wife dives into her plate with a piece of steak, looks at me in disgust, she chews and chews and chews, Says that "this is like chewing a cold rubber tire" Neither one of us finished our food and did not even want to go boxes. An expensive meal for one of the worst meals I have ever had at the Restaurant.
We had a nice lunch here. The mixed Sashimi Platter was fresh and flavorful. Especially the Salmon and Octopus. Nice Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura Platter. Great service from our Waiter. Good pricing. The only downer was way too much dressing on our salad. Otherwise, a very good meal.
Nice place to eat for sure. Max our hibachi grill cook was very friendly, funny and the food he cooked us was excellent. We loved it!
Great experience. Our Chef was amazing
The wait was worth it. The food was delicious and a lot of it. Our chef was really good. Had fun.
The food taste decent. This location can use better cleaning. The floors are slippery. The restrooms need improvement. The cooks were short handed yet the had people behind the middle bar standing around. One was on his cell phone.
The food was okay, the cocktails were great. The service was horrible. We had a server that checked on us a total of one time(towards the end of our meal might I add), didn’t offer me another cocktail when mine was empty, was very attentive to the table next to us but ignored us. She didn’t even take the card for us to pay, someone else did. Will not be returning. As a former restaurant server myself, and my husband being a manager at a restaurant, we expect more. At least the minimum of decent service. Will not be returning.
