The best steak in town Imo. We have eating out at quite a few different places and this place makes the most consistent tasting consistently cooked quality steak for your dollar. It is on the spendy side but it's really good too. The brussel sprouts are awesome in my wife always loves the wedge salad and I enjoyed the potato soup.
The best steakhouse in town! This is a picture of the Maudeen cooked medium taste... so tender and delicious! I'm on dietary restrictions so they steamed my green beans instead of flash frying them. The shrimp cocktail was great as well.
I came here for lunch. The restaurant was busy as the location is close to offices. Food came out fairly quickly considering the amount of people that was there. I had the Blackened Redfish and it was delicious! Some people in my group were on a strict diet and Saltgrass was able to accommodate their requests. And they were happy when the food came out.
Spotty reviews here but our group of 4 had great food and service. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the onion rings are to die for. A varied menu for all taste's and tasty appetizers . I guess you can hit this place on a bad day but we found this location to provide delicious steaks and great service. Thanks
My service was very questionable, I was hoping it would have gotten better but unfortunately it got worse …. I didn’t want to make a assumption but clearly he was very attentive with the other customers that were seated near us which made it very uncomfortable after a while , he literally only asked us if we were okay cause he had to pass by us , He never came back to fill our water and he placed a extra root-beer on the table before my daughter was even finished with her first one so he wouldn’t have to come back to the table , I was very dissatisfied and disappointed , I will definitely not be back at this establishment and hopefully it was not color related seeing that we were the only people of color in the restaurant at the time and our waiter was of color also I felt like he assumed cause I was of color I wasn’t gonna tip well and he made us feel like he didn’t want to wait on us cause we were of color …. Definitely 2 stars
With it being my very first time at this establishment I was definitely expecting a better quality of service then I received, The young man tried his best to seem like he wanted to serve us but with the lack of interaction you could tell he didn’t want to , our water was never filled and he brought a second cup of soda befor the first one was even done …. He only time he checked on us cause he had to walk by us but other then that he solely walked around us …. Trust me when I say if you can go to Baytown cause Beaumont Texas has the worst service
Great stake and great service
Our waiter was very attentive. He had our soft drinks, appetizer, salads, soup & entree out in a perfect timeline. The facility is clean. All employees were friendly & helpful. The food was not bad, but it's not as good as it was years ago. This appears to be a change within the chain, not individual restaurants. The best thing we had was the carrot cake. The appetizer, salad, soup & entrée were no where near as good as they were in the past. Their potato soup was once the best either of us had ever eaten. Today, it was too bad for my spouse to eat more than 2 or 3 bites. Had I not been so hungry, I wouldn't have eaten more than 1 bite. It saddens me to make this review. Had we known their food is no longer the high quality it was in the past, we would have gone elsewhere. Saltgrass, please return to the way things were years ago.☆Saltgrass replied, however, the link provided within their reply belongs to Landry's. What's up? We love Saltgrass, & would love to have some of the old you back.

My husband and I had a date night last night and we went here. We were seated and then we ordered our drinks and appetizers. The waitress brought our drinks and bread then a few minutes later she brought our appetizer. We ordered our food. About 30 minutes later they brought out our food I ordered a salad my husband ordered a hamburger there was a hair on his burger. We sent it back and they were supposed to remake it. Another 30 minutes later it still wasn't made and that was after the assistant manager said it would only take 5 minutes to make. They finally brought it out but we refused it and told them to take it off the bill. They did but it took another 30 minutes to get the bill and pay for it. The assistant manager blamed it all on the kitchen error instead of taking some responsibility for not going back to check on it.
