The food was amazing. If you want a good down-home cook food that is where you need to go. Awesome staff I will go again anytime.
Compared to the old days I have to admit it was not like it used to be the restaurant had flies in there and some in the food area the food was very heavily seasoned which is not healthy for a person like myself who loves to eat soul food however I do not want to get heartburn or have to worry about my colon after eating it lol, the price was elevated and I know that the cost of food is high but when you're eating you do not want the person serving you telling you how high the food is while you're buying your meal so needless to say I would not recommend the Richards that I went to it's not the one that I'll experienced before covid-19

Cook home cooked food a lil un organized but that doesn't matter the turkey is on point
The beef tips are so delicious. It just melts in your mouth and the gravy is hands down the best brown beef gravy I've ever tasted. Best when paired with the sweet potatoes! Very friendly staff and a great price. Real southern soul food.

This is a soul food Cafe. The staff is very friendly. Some items are spicy, like the cabbage. (I can't eat spicy food.) Food is good.

If you are not ready to eat, or semi hungry. Go to a convenient store and get chips and a drink; now for the real deal lol ? and great eating and they are friendly and nice and easy to get to!! Try it out and get a taste of down home cooking.
