I had an amazing time here. It was our first time here. I enjoyed the food, the staff and the decor. I had the shrimp quesadillas and the big tater. My wife had the 1/2 rack of ribs and all of it was wonderful. They also have a weekday special of $1.99 Margaritas that are awesome. I would definitely come back here.
Went out for a date night here yesterday and it was also my first time in. It was for st.pattys day so they had live music on the patio portion. The musician was great to listen to while we enjoyed our meal.You could come casual or dress up a little to come in and you wouldn't feel out of place. The ambiance was comfortable and fun. The wait staff was on top of it. Our waiter would have refills on our table before we even noticed to ask and while everyone was busy, there was no feeling like they were overburdened with too many tables which is something I like to see when dining out.The food was also excellent ?Here's what we ordered. Id recommend all of it.- Seafood trio - fried crayfish, alligator and shrimp with their house cocktail sauce. Super yummy. Nothing was rubbery in texture which ive often experienced with orderding fried alligator.- Pontchartrain with a side salad and a few leprechaun kisses (their special drink for the holiday, very very good)- Due to too many Ieprechaun kisses I can't remember the name of what my date ordered but it was a seafood platter that included fried soft shell crab, crab cakes, fried shrimp and some fried alligator and a cup of gumbo. This is the first place where I was pretty delighted in the gumbo, I would order again. Their tartar sauce had a great kick to it as well.- The bread pudding and the chocolate flourless cake were also both knockouts
Food and drinks were excellent!! The crawfish was delicious along with the swamp bites. Our waiter, Martin, was friendly and took care of us throughout the meal. He was knowledgeable of the menu and had great suggestions for items to try!! Definitely will be back again!!
Everything was absolutely amazing from our appetizer swamp bites to my husbands Bloody Mary and most amazing was my crawfish! Our server Martain was absolutely amazing also he was super helpful on what my picky husband should get!
This was my first time eating Here. The food was awesome good portion size for the price. The waiter not so good. Was not very attentive at all. Would have been a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the waiter. Oh and by the way there was maybe 6 tables of guest at the time I was there.
Remi is an AMAZING server with an intriguing personality, which makes her a great asset to Ralph & Kacoo's. We ask for her all the time. She is knowledgeable about all the food and drinks. The food is awesome and we have never been disappointed with anything we ordered. We love the atmosphere and we feel comfortable.
Had lunch here for the 1st time. We got the stuffed shrimp ? we both enjoyed our meal. Service was good, food was great. Overall a wonderful experience. Would return and recommend.
This evening was by far the WORST restaurant experience we ever had!!!And that’s saying an AWFUL lot. We’ve been here before - and it seemed to be a hit and miss deal on the quality of the food.1st we ordered the crab ? dip. Yuck ?It honestly wasn’t even eatable. I personally wanted to send it back- have it removed for our ticket- but my husband wouldn’t let me—- he’s not the complaining type. He’d rather just pay and NEVER COME BACK! —— I on the other hand think they should know it’s NASTY!!Then… comes our food -His - Seafood GumboMine- Catfish CocodrieAGAIN!!! Disgusting ?There’s a serious issue with the cooking of sauces & roux !!!!This stuff was gel like —- ?♀️it would actually stick (cling & slide) down the side of the bowl ?—- never ? seen any gumbo like that before—-This was also a serious ? issue with the appetizer- crab ? dip & NO FLAVOR!As bland as flour / water - jelledWe will NEVER go back…!!!I honestly feel like contacting Ralph & Kacoo’s corporate office —— becausethis is a franchise- - and there’s a standard to uphold- recipes to FOLLOW—-Food shouldn’t taste and appear differently each time we visit!!!!Done ☑️❌ Ralph & Kacoo’s

I know this may sound dramatic... but this is the best restaurant in Beaumont period and it isn't even close. The panama sauce is to die for. The guacomole and cheese dip were great. The quesodillas were the best I've ever had. 10/10 would return again. Despite sierra running the bar and waiting on tables the service was phenomenal. If you go here ask for Sierra !
