I went to patillo's twice this week. I use to love going. I ordered a link to days ago. Sauce watery. Today I ordered brisket sandwich, meat thin, no taste an watered down sauce. I won't be going back. Was my favorite as a child. Now smh

Where do I start, the food was disgusting to the point I did not eat it, nor did I give it to my family! I gave it away to someone who needed more than I. After tasting the meal, it was immediately obvious that I would be giving it away and never going back to this place. There was some good sides but the meat was not. The brisket was soaked in a gravy, there was no smoked ring around the meat I don't knownif they bake the food or smoke it. The ribs was really one and a half rib that was cut up to seem like your were getting a good portion size but I can tell you now, you won't get what you payed for! The bbq sauce has too much seasoning and you could see that at the bottom of the plate and bag because the grease will run out the side of the plate and into the bag. Overall rating is due to the test and presentation of the plate. 1 star and maybe .5. (That's being generous)

One of the oldest barbecue restaurants in Texas, Patillo's has some of the best barbecue around. I recommend their pork plate and their homemade links. Family owned and run, they're a legend in Southeast Texas.

Glo, the server, was an absolute sweetheart! The chicken and ribs were smoked to perfection. Loved the potatoe salad (without the onions). Defintely worth the stop if you're passing through. Personal rating 9/10. Will definitely come again.

I was waited on by some really nice people, but the bottom line is the food. It was not goof. The sliced beef tasted like frozen store bought barbecue beef. I literally could not eat the links. Just not a good experience.

Owner was in when I went, he was kind. Half smoked chicken was good, well seasoned, not too smokey. Excited to go back!

Very goo place, excelente customer service, pork ribs on point,

Such a cool place! A BBQ place established in 1912 with so much charm. The owner greeted us at the door and his brother gave us the history of the restaurant. The portions were large so make sure you’re hungry! And the sweet tea- oh my goodness! It’s just the kind of place you’d hope to run into on a road trip.

Ribs were so,so. Brisket was so,so. Jambalaya was good, beans was good, link was good. For me not good enough to visit again. I give it a three star because to me, the meat is what I go for

I've been eating from Patillo's since I was a kid when it was in Rail Road Ave, and that wasn't yesterday☺. I had the ribs today and they were awesome.
