We we happy with the food my husband and I ordered. A pepper jack burger and a firehouse chicken sandwich. Onion ring and fries were good too.But we had an issue that left us a bit sour. We ordered 2 chicken tender baskets for our kids 7 and 9 My husband said the words.. 2 kids chicken tender baskets when we ordered. The waitress put it in as 2 adult chicken tender baskets (she told us later it was her 6th shift and didn't know there was a kids menu). When the food came we commented on how large the kids portion was in front of the waitress. When the bill came my husband noticed we were charged for the adult chicken baskets. I told the waitress and she apologized and said she didn't even know there was a children's menu and she asked me if I wanted her to talk to the manager. I said yes, since it wasn't our mistake and both kids left a lot of food unfinished. The manager was sitting at the bar when the waitress went up to her. My husband didn't hear the waitress speak but clearly heard the manager say "well they already got the food, so.." the waitress came back and apologized and put the bill down for us to pay. The price difference is about $13. So we paid the bill and went home with extra food.This was very poorly executed. It was clearly not our fault that the new waitress put in our order incorrectly. She didn't even know there was a kids menu, meaning this was not her fault either, it was whomever is responsible for her training. That would fall to the manager. And the manager unprofessionally was sitting at the bar, spoke very loudly so that my husband could hear her from 20 ft away. She didn't try to figure out if we were right or what happened. She just rudely and loudly said we already got the food so we'd be paying for it. Unfortunately her bad managing will prevent Luke's icehouse from our repeat business. They would have ate $13 and left us happy to come back and bring in $60+ each visit. Plus this word of mouth. This is unfortunate.Also the chicken could use more seasoning. The firebird was good but the chicken tenders needing seasoning.
This place is sooo hard on either new faces or black people we walked in and everyone was just staring at us uncomfortably like we were in the wrong place ? WINDY was so rude she acted as if we were bothering her but she was very nice to the non colored couple! We sat at the bar for 32 mins before anyone even came to help us which was WINDY After sitting there and rude service we just decided not to order and leave it was just a bad experience and I’ll never visit this place again
A great restaurant for families they have washers,pool and some cheap corn hole boards but overall a great place to eat I went with a big group so the food was a little slow but that’s expected with a big group of people.
I brought my dog here to celebrate her 2nd birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and the food.The staff was very friendly. I got the street tacos and I ordered a burger patty for my dog and as far as I can tell she loved her burger patty as much as I loved my tacos.

I was really disappointed when this place shut down a couple years ago. Just found out that they opened again and the food is all as great as I remember. Many memories here and will for sure be back.

I used to like this place.IT HAS GONE TO TRASH!!!Had the brisket queso, fatty brisket, all grease. I told the server, and she said that's the way it is. You could see the grease separated, floating on the queso.My wife's burger had raw meat in it, the so called manager took 10 minutes to get to our table, and anther 20 minutes to get another one. We were all done eating by the time she got it. And they refused to take it off the ticket, saying you got it and you ate it.I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!
One of the best places in town to sit down for a drink. However I will no longer be supporting Luke's. I guess they have chosen to host Beto for a campaign style event. I can't support a business that supports a person that openly tells you what rights he want us Texans to lose. Eat a [email protected] beto. Off to Lil Woodrows, it's in a better side of town anyways.
