Great food and atmosphere
I had the Shrimp Gumbo. Absolutely delicious.
Had dinner and was greatly disappointed. Ordered a hamburger for my granddaughter simple enough. When delivered it had cheese on it, can't do cheese. Sent it back to be corrected the solution was just pull most of the cheese off the top and return it. Had to be remade. My mid rare steak was waaay over cooked. Never got a refill of y drink or of the break. Very disappointed.
In town on business and we knew we wanted seafood and also something Cajun. Our choice with Floyd’s did not disappoint in the slightest. This has to be some of the best Cajun food we have tried thus far.Everyone in our party was thrilled with the service and the food.We have agreed that we will be coming back when on business again.Too bad they don’t have a location in the DFW area because I would visit more often than I probably should!
I'm in Beaumont a few times a year. I ALWAYS stop at Floyds when I am there. Honestly, it is the best thing that Beaumont TX. has going for it. My meal always includes their wonderful crab bisque and I usually have a fish steak- Tuna, Sword, etc blackened with the veggie side. They just do this so well. Every meal- and I have had quite a few over the last 12 years of going there, has been awesome! I recommend Floyds to all of my friends that come into TX. via I-10.
Had a tasty dinner tonight at Floyd's. We were wanting boiled crawfish and they served 'em up to us -- and spicy too! The bar trash appetizer -- crab and shrimp -- was good. The chicken and sausage gumbo was excellent! However, the Dawg Shrimp were not a hit -- overcooked and nothing special. Still, we had a great meal, loved the vibe of the place -- music, chatter of happy patrons, good service. We'd go again when in Beaumont.
I wanted Crawfish and they had it. Waiter was on point with everything.

After driving 9 hours from northern Ms to Texas, I stopped in at Floyd’s at about 7PM on a Saturday night on the recommendation of others from Trip advisor. The place was hopping with a 45 minute wait for a table, but there were some available seats at the bar. Their raw Oysters were fresh, medium in size, and priced appropriately. I could not have asked for more. No one seemed to mind that I ordered a large glass of water instead of alcohol with my meal, and even without having ordered alcohol, the bar tender was attentive to my needs…I will definitely try this place again under more normal dinner circumstances.
