Lots of parking in front and behind. Traffic was backing up from the traffic light along Calder Ave so recommend using the turn in from W Lucas Dr if there's traffic. The restaurant is counter service. The staff was very friendly and will patiently help you if you have questions. They had menus at the counter. Place your order and pay first. They'll give you a number and call it when your order is ready for you to go collect from the counter. There was a mix of indoor tables and booths as well as outdoor tables, mostly covered. Outside was nice, although when it's really windy, like it was during my visit, it's going to make it difficult to hold on to your napkins. The bacon cheeseburger was really tasty. I got mine on the jalapeno bun. It didn't seem spicy at all. The sweet potato fries were pretty standard. There are two single person restrooms, one for men and one for women. Overall, a nice little burger joint.
First and last time customer here. Yesterday I was passing thru, i decided to stop here and i placed an order over $33. I was driving from Texas to Mississippi. After I purchased my food I got back on the interstate and about 10 miles into my drive I decided to start eating my food only to discover about a 6 inch long hair in my burger??. I am LIVID?. The entire kitchen staff NEED to wear hair nets. I threw my burger away. Money wasted. Had I not been in a rush to get to Mississippi, I would've turned around and took that food back and got my money back.
We enjoyed our meal at this independent eatery My bacon cheddar burger was delicious...one of the best burgers I've had at a restaurant in quite some time. The crunchiness of the french fries left a lot to be desired. The diet Dr Pepper and Coke Zero in the soda fountain we're mixed perfectly. The decor is very reminiscent of an old burger joint and their music list was awesome (Eagles, Gloria Gaynor, Gordon Lightfoot).
We were looking for a non-chain burger place and this place delivered! My husband loved the green chili burger ( not something you can find on the menu on the east coast -- we miss that). My burger was done just right also. I enjoyed the chocolate milkshake -- sooo good. Nice atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean. Highly recommend you stop here. It's not far off 10--well worth it
While we were in town we decided to stop and try out Daddio's for burgers! They were rated high on Yelp, so we wanted to try them out! We weren't disappointed at all! My wife got a cheeseburger with bacon, while I opted for the Blue bacon burger and a side of cheese fries. We got our 6 year old, the Mac and Cheese with fries for kids. He was in that kind of mood. He took a couple of bites then wanted a cheeseburger, so my wife went and ordered him one of those. He said he didn't like his Mac and Cheese, but I tried it and it was really good!!! I don't think he liked it because it didn't come out of a box. My wife and I finally got to try our burgers and we thought the were delicious with the jalapeno bread buns! Both were cooked just right, juicy and not dry at all! My cheese fries were really good too! My wife opted for the fried onions which were good, but kind of like onion rings cut in half. We opted to get fountain drinks, but they do have been here! The staff was really friendly and the girl working the counter taking orders was extremely helpful as it was our first time here. Just really good burgers here and really worth your time off your in the mood for a really good burger!
I literally eat here every day. I work nights and it's been so nice being able to get 2 burgers that are cooked amazingly! highly recommend the avocado swiss burger, Maui burger and the mushroom swiss. All with the jalapeno bun. Absolutely delicious. Always treat me respectful and never had any issues other than there's no location near my home. 5 out of 5 stars hands down.
The spicy grilled chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce, pepper jack cheese on a jalapeno bun is a spicy extravaganza for your taste buds! Always add the apple wood bacon!
Awesome burgers, best one I had so far. I had the Diablo burger and my son had the Dave's Chicken sandwich. Both were amazing. We will be back !!
We stopped here for the black bean burger. Delicious! Staff was very accommodating of our vegan restrictions. We will return!
Super good burgers. They have plenty of options and everything I've tried has been really good. A really casual atmosphere, customer service has been great and they give excellent suggestions too.
