Well they closed Down all the (4) Churches Chicken in our city andOnly One had open back up.It is StackedWith Employees and yet the service isNot Good Chicken was Cold didn't tasteGood at all Three it away didn't have time to go back to take it back.It was onOur News that they were all Shut DownAnyway.No More Churches Chicken forUs We Done.Not the same No More!.
Went to church's chicken across the street from St. Elizabeth hospital. Waited at the menu/speaker for over 15 minutes with no response. Moved forward when the car in front left drive thru window. Employee had the excuse that my truck was too big so the sensor didn't go off, but the same thing happened with the corvette behind me. Once we ordered a 3 piece with 3 sides, it was another 27 minutes before we received the order. Will not go back. Food was average, service was beyond bad.
I just had the pleasure of meeting Rose P. at the Calder Street location. She was very professional, kind and courteous. She allowed me to take my time at the drive through window to decide what I wanted. She explained to me that she had hit the wrong button so I would understand my receipt. She made sure that I was happy with my order and I really appreciate that kind of customer service. Churches Chicken is very lucky to have her as an employee. I hope that she is there the next time I go to Churches.Great job Rose
I ordered a #1 which is two piece mixed with a side and a drink. I pull up to the window and the lady tells me it doesn't come with a drink, I say on the menu it says 1 thru 4 comes with one side and a drink, she asks some if that's right and they tell her yes. I ordered two peppers and mac and cheese with the order, what I got was fried okra and no peppers, I hand them back the bag and say I didn't order okra I ordered mac and cheese with two peppers, they took the bag and gave me mac and cheese but I never got the peppers or a receipt . I gave up and just left.... never to return.
The place was out of white meat. And the leg and thigh were nasty taste. They have both changed the oil.
The Chicken Fried Steak Dinner with Sweet Tea is my guilty pleasure! Staff is always so friendly.
