Everyone knows this is the best, most authentic Tex-Mex in the world! No one does it better! Hands down. From the chips & salsa to the brown enchilada gravy to the beans and rice... the way they cook the chicken for enchiladas! They even sell Mexican Coke in the bottle! Best service! Pure Mexico! Pure Tex Mex! We love you Carmela's! Never leave us!
My husband & I recently had Carmela's cater our wedding & WOW, they did not disappoint. After speaking with Chava, who helped us through the options they have for catering, we decided on beef, chicken & al pastor tacos with corn & flour tortillas. Came with all the sides (rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, onion, limes, sour cream) and we also added chips with queso, salsa & guac. We offered mini bottles of water at the wedding, but we were able to get tea/lemonade from Carmela's as well, for our kiddos & non-alcoholic drinkers. The tacos were a hit & we're happy to support a loved local gem! Thanks Carmela's!! ?❤️

Carmela's catered a fajita lunch for 36 and the meal was excellent. Everything was hot, attractive and really good. The portions were large and we were very pleased and would highly recommend them to you.
You'll love the authentic TexMex from this locally owned favorite. Nice selection of appetizers, a wonderful bar and a nice variety of TexMex. Always fresh and hot! Excellent wait staff and a family atmosphere.

I went for Taco Tuesday. The mini tacos used to be .99 cents but has increased to $1.50. I got a flour tortilla with steak and a corn tortilla with chicken. Y'all, when I say that they were AMAZING!!!!! I am not even kidding! They were sooooo good, I ordered 2 more except I had them flip flop the tortillas...flour with steak and corn with chicken. The salsa was great as well!!!!
Place has a lot of reviews with a high rating. Parking lot was packed. Typical Tex-Mex restaurant. Same menu as all other Tex-Mex restaurants. The salsa was good. Had a ton of garlic which I like. Ordered the verde enchiladas. They were as expected. Rice had some hard crunchy bits that were dried out. It happens. No biggie. The servers were friendly. It was good, just not special. Not sure why it has so many high reviews when there are a dozen restaurants that serve the exact same thing. Again, not bad at all. Just shouldn’t be rated so high.
This was my first time at Carmela's and I was surprised that it was the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten in many years (and I eat a lot of Mexican food!) I had the Mexican pizza, which was absolutely amazing (and not much like pizza).
