Great pizza! We picked up two 16” ones, a Margarita and a Pepperoni, and they were more than enough for several people. Delicious fresh ingredients, ready in 15 minutes and a fair price for such quality pies.
My husband put together a little celebration for my mother in law's 96th birthday. We got all of her running buddies together to celebrate at Bruno's. Very delicious pasta lovely looking salads and and very responsive service service. I highly recommend this place we drove over from Houston.
For starters, we ordered the shrimp scampi. The sauce was bland and the presentation was poor. For entrees, my wife and I ordered the salmon and grilled chicken, respectively. The chicken had a heavy char that left an awful burnt aftertaste, and I’ve tasted better steamed veggies from the freezer section at HEB. The salmon was very over cooked and dry with a strong fishy flavor (definitely not fresh), the angel hair pasta with capers were flavorless and the steamed veggies were beyond bland. The service was average and the atmosphere was pleasant (despite it being 76 degrees in the dining area). We will never go back, but it was worth a shot since I’ve heard many good things about the place.
Have visited before twice. This visit was good. We sat outside this time. Service was alittle slow but that was expected as it was mother's day. Shrimp Alfredo tortellini was great anf the tomato basil soup was really yummy. Spring dip and calamari were good and lobster ravioli was good. Our server didn't check on us much but it could have been with them being busy as it was mothers day or/and we were outside. We will return.
Went in here and had horrible “experience” sat down and got a waitress named Angel she was very rude and had a very odd demeanor about her she asked us how we were doing and answered the question like “yeah I’m fine” before we can answer… then I asked her for a drink menu and she said yes and just sat there looking at me weirdly.. I asked “can I get one” and she says “ok” and walks to get me one after that the whole vibe was off and I didn’t even wanna try this place. Pretty new to the area and never ate here but they lost my business with that kind of attitude working there
The spinach dip was tasteless. The bread chips that came with it was tasteless. The bread that came with the stuffed mushrooms was tasteless. The stuffed mushrooms were good but you don’t get much. Franks Italian stuffed mushrooms with Alfredo sauce is way better than this place. I didn’t order anything else but I’m not really encourage that they know how to pull Italian flavors out of anything really
Best eggplant Parmesan ever. I’ve ordered eggplant Parmesan at every local Italian restaurant and this is by far the thickest, crunchiest, and largest portion I’ve ever had. The dinner comes with choice of salad and the dinner plate comes with four nice thick medallions and I’m full after two of them. I order it without pasta and add sautéed vegetables that are cooked perfectly Nice and crispy.
Great food and the Blackberry Sangria was delicious. The only suggestion from one of the people dinning with my group....improvement is needed on the wings! The wings did not arrive as described on the menu. The wings were not deep fried until crispy !
Service was excellent bread and oil was good. If it wasn't for those two thing my rating would be 1 star. Everything else was not good food was warm not hot very bland. This visit was NOT worth the prices average $20 per person. Little Ceasars would've been better and $20 to feed family.
Great place. The food was amazing. You couldn't ask for better service. If you want a awesome dinning experience, I highly recommend Bruno's.
