Normally we stop in Baytown to eat Breakfast enroute to Louisianna. Because of construction at our turnoff, we drove to another exit where there were restaurants. Whataburger on Hwy 146 was in the cluster of places where one could eat. It is located in an attractive modern building. Interior was beautifully designed with a nice layout to order, pickup and dine. The place was clean. The one person at counter was efficient & seemed to be doing work of three. Since we were not familiar with their menu & didn't know what we wanted, she directed me to look at the menu board while she took care of other business. I ordered two coffees and Items #20 # #24.from menu board. Service was quick. Since we were there in the mid morning expected condiments and soap in men's bathroom to be stocked. Low on jellies and two dispensers were out of soap.

Every time I order online in the am between 5 and 6 I always have to wait in the line with everyone else and they use the excuse dropping fries now. Online is supposed to be convenient so you're not waiting.

Was always told this is the In-n-Out of Texas. I disagree. The lines were far shorter and the burgers were far bigger. The cost far smaller. Flavor-wise was about the same. The bun was hard and flat though....not sure if that is by design or if mine was stale.

The food is good and the service is good but one of the female managers with a multicolored haircut seems to always have her drama out in the open and she doesn't speak to her workers in a very respectful and meaningful way in front of the customers. Last week while I walked in she was sitting down at the first table and I looked at her and simply said hello how are you and she is always couldn't even simply acknowledge me by saying hello. Don't be scold in your employees in front of the customers and that is why you get only a 2

The slowest fast food line ever! They had 2 lines going and both were at a standstill. When we first pulled up someone was going to take our order but then he just abruptly left with a “sorry.” After wondering and waiting if he would come back we finally decided to just pull up to the speaker and someone eventually got around to helping us. The whole experience was also made worse by one car holding up the entire lane that, no joke, ordered at least 12 bags of food which were slowly delivered one at a time! Love Whataburger but waiting for your food for 45 minutes and having such a poor experience throughout was not worth it especially when you are trapped between a curb and the restaurant as soon as you place your order so you can’t leave even if you wanted to! When we finally got our food they messed up our sauce order but we were too exhausted to attempt to deal with them again, so we just left.

I've been to this location twice and will never, ever go back. They manage to move about 1 car every 5 minutes, if that. Both times I have day in line for at least 40 minutes, only to wait another 10 after paying. I'll drive to deer park whataburger 30 minutes away so I can actually get the food quicker

I usually never complain about Whataburger but this time I was not happy. My French fries were disgusting, I would have asked for a replacement but the store was busy. It took 15 minutes for me to get my food to dine in. I will not be going back to this location.

I liked it, it was busy. So delays happen. After church it is busy. Clean friendly towards disabled. I did keto style on #2

I love whataburger but this location on 146 and I-10 has got to be the slowest one I have ever been to. The staff is always nice but you better have 30 to 45 mins to wait even if you order a drink. I don't know what is going on here because it did not used to be this way but I can tell you that everyone has caught on and avoids this location. The amount of traffic here has dropped tremendously. We all rather drive up the road to the next location cause this ain't the place.....

This place used to be the best back then, but is seems like there's new management because it's gone downhill, it takes FOREVER to get your and if you try using the mobile app, forget about it because they'll mess up your order and then take an additional longer time to get your order right. The workers look so slow paced and unmotivated, can't believe how terrible this place has gotten.
