Wazabi is my favorite sushi spot in Baytown. Each of their rolls are lovingly crafted and scrumptious, and their plate presentation is always fun (and full of delicious sauce). When we think about going out for sushi, Wazabi is always the first place on our minds. My personal favorite is the Kiss My Bass- there's just something perfect about the amount of pepper sprinkled on that roll. I love their appetizers as well, and although I haven't tried some of their non-sushi menu items, I've got full faith that they're delicious. The vibes inside are very quiet and calm, and the staff are very kind.As an extra thumbs up, Wazabi is right next to the cutest (and most delicious) family run ice cream place. You can get sushi and ice cream in one very short walk.
Great little family owned Sushi ? restaurant. Really nice Sushi Chef and discussion this is location #2. Down Town Bay Town looks like it's trying to get back running. Fair amount of people walking around the square.Bang Bang Poke bowl tasted great with a little bit of heat. I ended up over eating as I also had a delicious Crazy roll. The sign of a good restaurant. Plate presentation and flavors were on point.
Food was amazing! I love how much pride the sushi chef has with his presentation of each dish. And the wasabi was hot! ❤️
I loved it. My wife has Celiac's and was able to happily enjoy the sashimi and some sushi with no repercussions. The cross contamination safety is good.
Great little place to go and have some really good sushi.
Food was very good. The price was a little high, we definitely paid for presentation. The service was okay, not the fastest, but definitely fresh. However, 3 of the 5 people in our party started to have burning eyes and watering. There was something in the air that caused it, we never knew what though. Even our waitress expressed her eyes were burning too.
The sushi was fresh and awsome
We ordered bang bang tacos and mahi tacosThe wait was long and when they came out both were cold. They were really heavily fried so that made them kind of gross especially to eat cold, and mine was drenched in sauce. The flavor was already overbearing, and then they paired it with a side sauce that really did not help but actually made it worse! :( Neither myself nor my date could eat our food enjoyably. I’ve had good experiences here before but this last one was not it.
Confusing decor, odd music, food that made me nauseous, long wait time for food in a near empty building, and mediocre service … but the waitress was nice!I left in the middle of the meal to throw up, b/c, you know, the food was making me sick. And the bathroom was ready for Halloween a month early. As I stood waiting to vomit up my $50 meal, I noticed a spider web right over the toilet and a rusty trash can without a liner next to it. The bathroom was dimly lit, but I could tell the faucet was loose and the paper towel dispenser was empty. I made it back to listen to the Spice Girls blasting from the speakers, so I felt had left one form of misery for another.I have zero idea why this place has a 4.6 rating. I will never go back.
Google hours say open for lunch, posted hours on the door say different. Not cool driving from Dayton to here and not being able to eat. Get your act together.
