I am a Carino’s Loyalist. Service was great. I ordered a chicken and shrimp dish. The shrimp tasted like bacon. I didn’t have a major problem w/ that flavor or seasoning. That was the last meal i had for 3 days until i recovered from what i believe to be caused by that meal. I will still visit this restaurant after some time. I never allow one experience make my final opinion.
Went with a few friends and honestly didn't expect much based on the wait staff from my previous experiences. However, service was fantastic this time! Our server Victoria was really courteous and attentive. We enjoyed conversation with her; she's very personable. The food was good (had better, had worse (obviously knew that going in)). The Italian sodas were delish! The service really made the visit though.
Service was meh, food was meh, cleanliness was awful. Don’t look at the ceiling, or you won’t want to finish your meal. The A/C vents were disgusting and moldy, the sink in the women’s restroom was leaking water all over the floor. Our server knew nothing about the menu (or Italian food in general). When we asked for plain marinara, she told me they only had spicy marinara. Then I called it tomato sauce, and she knew what I was talking about. She had no idea what liquors were available for a top shelf drink. Salads were good, bread was good. We got chicken parm and lasagna. The sauce has almost no flavor, basically tomatoes and water.
I’ve dined here many times for many years & have always had a pleasant experience. The menu seems to constantly have something new and tasty. Big shout out to my server Victoria on my last visit. She did an excellent job serving my family & her food recommendations nailed it. The skillet spaghetti was delicious!
Great service and friendly staff. A very nice place to sit down for a dinner or lunch. Awesome selections on the menu. Must also say this…way better than the Olive Garden across the street.
The food was excellent as was the service. You could tell that they were a little short staffed as is everyone these days, but the staff was very pleasant upbeat and helpful. The manager who was dealing with a large table of “Karen’s” never lost his cool and still managed to stop by our table to make sure we were being taken care of. Great jobs guys we hope to be back soon.

My husband and I were hoping to have a nice delicious dinner. This was my first time eating at a johnny carino's, needless to say I was not pleased with the meal at all. The calamari was not cooked all the way, and instead of preparing a different batch they threw the same batch in and it still was not cooked all the way, along with it returning back to our table with a hair in it... the pasta I had tasted like plastic and was very undercooked, as well as my husbands meal, the bread was really hard as well. The only thing we actually enjoyed was the drinks and the waitress we had was very nice and understanding, and it is no where near her fault for the way these meals were prepared and cooked. I called the restaurant and the kitchen manager took care of everything!! He was polite, apologized about the experience, gave a full refund, and even offered a meal on the house we would give them another chance.. THANK YOU!!
Food is always pretty good. Service is always a little less than decent. I guess we keep going back for the food and tip out of charity
My sister and I went to eat at the one off Garth Rd. We ordered the meal for two for 24.99. We thought it was 24.99 then we got the bill an it was 24.99 a PC. I guess we didn't read fine print, be careful. Food an service was good just didn't know.
