Ribs were cooked perfectly but I was expecting a more authentic Texas style BBQ flavor being in Texas. The food was a little generic. Not much flavor to the brisket, I'm assuming a lower quality brisket is used. Seasoning on the brisket was nearly non-existent. Seasoning on the ribs were good but still not much smoke flavor at all to the meats. If you want an authentic Texas BBQ joint, this is not the place for you. The price is right and the service was good and the portions were big for the price you pay, the food just left a little to yearn for.
2 stars because the portion is good. I had the ribs with coleslaw and fries. My husband had 2meat was sausage and brisket and potato salad and beans. Ribs were dry and so was the brisket could taste the smokey on the ribs. Brisket had no flavor. Potato salad and coleslaw tasted like what you get at walmart. Rolls were not fresh at all. Fries were a little under cooked for my taste. There BBQ sauce was watery and vinegary. Realy not a good BBQ. I will have to try another place .
Real good bbq. While working in the area I ate from this place probably 2-3 times a week. haven't found good bbq like this since.

This place is actually very good and it exceeded my expectations for its location. Ribs are excellent. Brisket is good. Sausage is good, although the skin is a little bit tough for my liking. Mac and cheese is excellent. Mustard potato salad is excellent. The fries are extremely generic, and they are really an insult to all the good food, but I asked to swap it for mac and cheese and staff happily obliged, and considering that, I give them 5 stars because that made my experience perfect. This place should definitely consider switching fry suppliers.

Since I was in highschool, and we had open campus for lunch (1988-1989), they were located in the building that I believe the hair place on Baker Rd is now, we used to eat there daily and I have ALWAYS LOVED this place. Yes, I know different owners, and different location, but the food and customer service is beyond reproach. They are consistent and wonderful, and they take their absolute kindness and generosity to the city of Baytown has been a long running statement of their commitment to our community. I cannot think of a better place for BBQ, family meals, take out (Lee College uses them EXCLUSIVELY for their in-house large group parties for classes and training) which also says a lot about their quality, consistency, and overall wonderfully smoke ringed briskets. You cannot go wrong with any items from the menu. Baytown born and bred and Baytown strong. Thank you guys for your decades of service and amazing food.

This place gives you a very good hometown feeling. Very great staff, warm welcome. I ordered the sliced beef sandwich with all the fixings and it was great nice and tender, my husband ordered the three meat platter everything on his plate was great and well seasoned. The barbecue sauce is phenomenal!! Highly recommend you stop by and try some food!
