I usually eat at the Bayway location but it was closed, Monday the 30th(Memorial Day) so this is why we (5 of us) ended up at the Garth Road location around 6PM.They weren’t too busy so hopes were high. WRONG!!! My sister order fajitas for one. 2 of us the Taco Dinner (my pictures shown) then I believe the others had some kinda of dinners that had a lot on the plates. Everyone at the table received their meals and the only thing they brought to her was rice and beans the waitress kept saying it’s coming as I was getting up to find a man one came to the table with her meat but had to ask for tortillas.. ?? very disappointed.Price are high, not much on my tacos, and the service sucks
We had a large table for dinner service's. We waited a bit to be seated. The server was good. Our drinks and food didn't take long to arrive at the table. There were 6 adults and 3 small children. They accommodated our high chair needs. The server was quick to bring out queso to keep the little people content. He did a wonderful job of keeping chips refilled. The majority of the table had fajitas on hot plates. The server made sure to keep them out of reach of the kiddos, which was much appreciated. The food was good per usual. The service was good. The mixed drinks were great. We enjoyed a lovely evening, we will definitely dine here for dinner another night!
don't go eat with just you and your kid. they will throw away your food when you go to the bathroom. so disappointed.
As usual, we were looking for a place not too far from our hotel, and with gluten free options. The festive atmosphere was apparent from the minute we walked in the door. This appears to be a popular spot for birthday celebrations. We sat in the bar, at a high-top and could see staff entering and leaving the kitchen. The action was non-stop. These people work very had. My chicken nachos were piled with meat. The margarita had tequila flavor but was mostly citrus. Not what we had hoped for after a long day on the road. The soft serve self serve machine by the door is very popular. It was fun watching customers help themselves to that on their way out (and some on the way in!).
The food was pretty good better than your typical chains. Service struggle at times. It was pretty busy, Texas2k crowd. Fish taco were good, my wife did not enjoy her summer special, it was cold.
The food was good not great. The service below average. In a month I will forget what I ordered and in 2 months I will forget I was even here…. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good but nothing here to come back for. It’s just like all the rest, over-rated.
We loved it,. My wife and I have date night every Friday and we go there pretty much all the time. The servers are the best and the prices are always good. We give it 10 stars!!!
Great food and atmosphere. Definitely better than many of the other Mexican restaurants in the area. Every time we go the food is always good and the wait staff are always responsive. A great place to check out if you are in Baytown.
I've been dining here for a few years now, and the food and service is always excellent. If you see a lot of people waiting, you should wait too, if you're not to busy. Always ask about the patio on the weekend if it's open, and if you like dinning outside. The patio seating is covered. You may get seated a little faster. Either way, it's worth the wait. I've had multiple menu items, and the food is excellent. You get bottomless chips and salsa when you dine inn as well.
we were looking for some good Mexican food and the reviews were good for this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is well maintained, the staff was attentive and excellent. The food was superb. Everything I ate was good. The atmosphere was pleasant and I will definitely dine here again when I visit Baytown again later this year.
