Always great food at this small business off the I-10, just wish the stuffed baker didn't have BBQ sauce mixed with the chopped beef.. and you better get there early if you want a baked potato, once their gone,, their out!!you have to wait until next day.They also have large group and family deals
My husband and I loved the smoked meats here! I was drawn to the restaurant during my call prior to visiting. Melissa, most courteous cashier/attendant ever, informed me that the eatery would be closing in "20 minutes". I explained that we were just leaving our warehouse at 610E. and Wallisville Rd. approximately 35 minutes away and Melissa stated they would make my order and keep it warm whiles I make the trip to them 25 mins. after their actual close My, how nice?!! I stopped by here on an out of town work trip. I try a lot of bbq places in my travels. This place was one of the best. I had the two meat plate with ribs and sausage. The meat was excellent, particularly the ribs. The beans were good, and I really liked the coleslaw, which tasted homemade. Portions were good, prices are reasonable. The dining room was comfortable and clean. I'd be a regular if I lived in the area.
As you walk in its like BBQ HEAVEN, The smell is beautiful. I bought me a sliced brisket sandwich although good, The bun literally broke into pieces I also bought some boudan.it was good but spicy 4 me I can't do any kind of spicy at all .like none. It's pricey too but good.
Service was good cashier was good as well. But the food wasn’t my potato wasn’t soft throughout. I had to pay an extra dollar for them to chop my brisket and another dollar to add sliced jalapeños. I’ve never been charged for this. All in all 16.23 was not worth it
This is pretty dang good BBQ. Doesn't look like much from the outside because its in an old gas station building, but its legit. I normally get the ribs. And the cole slaw is really good. Its not the mush you typically get with BBQ. Its more of a rough cut, and the dressing is different. Dont know what it is but I like it.
absolutely the best BBQ around me and my brother drove from Denham springs Louisiana to bay town just to eat there and one other spot great people nice atmosphere the best by far
