Had the amazing weekend vegetarian buffet. I’m not a vegetarian and it tasted so good with a good amount of variety. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great flavors and the naan bread was legit! Can’t wait to go back and really wanna try some menu items as they look amazing as well!!

The Sunday evening buffet is absolutely spectacular - vegan and oil-free! Three different tables with a variety of dishes that were all incredibly tasty. I will absolutely be returning a regular basis.

This place has one of the best varieties of Indian food and the buffet has one of the best selections.

Went for buffet. Food was cold. We asked them to heat the food up. They heated up a bowl of each curry one by one and brought up to the table . Then we asked for the bread. They pointed at the buffet. We said” but that’s cold ”. So they went inside and made hot ones. But by that time the curries on our table got cold again . We didn’t even ask to heat up the appetizers & they were not heating the food unless we ask specifically to heat a certain dish. The food tasted terrible because it was cold.We had to pay around$70 for 2 kids, 2 adults. We can have a great meal for that much money anywhere in Austin. Also they lied on the phone about the price of buffet for kids. They said it’s half the price of what they charge for adults which was 15.99 and when we went they charged us 12.99 for each kid.Go at your own risk.

I wish there was a negative rating and I would have given itThe lady assisting was nice but here is where we ended upI went to have Indian food as hadn't had it in over a week . I went with my daughter1) food was awful. Idli s we're like a rock2) rest were okInitially no one was there to seat us for well over 7 min. The ambience was poorWorst was the guy added his own 18% tip without giving me an option. I was not happy with this and asked him to remove it. I said it was at my discretionSo he agreed and now I see 2 charges one for 42 with tip included and another for 36 without tip . So an awful buffet for 78$ . My 12 year old hardly touched anything and she threw up on our way to the airportSo avoid the placeBad serviceBad foodA place that cheats

1) Masala Dosas are supposed to be moist and crepe like. These were dry and crumbly with almost no potato filling. The Sambar had a nice flavor.. A few months ago the dosas were very good, moist and very properly filled. 2) Samosas were doughy and the filling was mashed potatoes flavored with raw Garam masala. A few months ago samosas were crispy and the filling had pieces of potato and peas with a yellow seasoning. 3) Aloo gobi was good enough. 4) Mushroom matter was good enough. 5) We ordered paratha and roti, but received no roti. I am not sure that we will ever order from zaika again.

The food and the staff was absolutley amazing. Their buffets on the weekend are even better with many vegetarian and oil free vegan options. Probably the best Indian food in Austin without a doubt. The owner is a very kind hearted man and is always open to meeting the customers if you ask for him!! Amazing place!

I believe Zaika is my new Austin favorite for South Indian (their makhani was excellent as well)! This is my first visit and forgot to take a picture before devouring; we’ll be back soon

I came in during lunch and I was the only customer in the whole restaurant, which made me a little worried. After ordering the food came out very quick and it was very good. The restaurant interior looks a little dated. Overall I could see myself coming back if I'm feeling like indian good when in this part of town.

Waitress only informed of two meats that cost extra when asked. possibly manager or owner did not care to accommodate mistake on their part in training, stating menu states the price, which the online menu did not (hence why asked of the prices initially to waitress). Will not come back. No understanding of customer service
