We hoped that this would be our go to dim sum place in Austin, but there were a few hit and misses. The soupy dumplings are not fresh and did not contain “soup” content. The picture below shows how pathetic it is. The har how and shiu mai were small “appetizer” portions. The rice in lotus leaf had 1 slice of Chinese sausage and 1 teaspoon of pork. The mapo tofu was bland and did not have peppercorn flavoring. The dish that was on point: chicken feet
Came in for the reverse happy hour. They had some good deals on drinks and few food items. The place had a cute cozy vibe. Great value for moneyWe got the pork and tofu gua bao, veggie dumplings, wonton soup and Dan dan noodles with tofu. The pork gua bao was good but the tofu one was a bit on the dry side. The dumplings had a nice chewy wrapper with plenty of veggies. The wonton soup was decent. We got dan dan with triangle noodles and they were of excellent texture. It smelt amazing and we could see them handpulling the noodles. The chilli oil sauce was not spicy but had a numbing sensation and bok choy that came with it was great.
Loved all the dishes we ordered especially the succulent Chilli oil wontons, Shu Mai and dim-sums.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in austin. It has some of the best noodles I have ever had. Highly recommend the stir fried thick spaghetti. Great service, usually no wait, great prices (especially if you factor in that most of the time you get enough for 2x meals) all make this a cant miss stop when in the domain!
Good food, great prices & service. The saketini was okay…would’ve liked it colder. The Dan Dan noodles and Shoyu Ramen soup were both delicious….loved the hand pulled noodles! Overall a nice restaurant to eat at…we’ll be back to try other menu items.
We must waiting for food. There aer a lot of people.Taste is normal. The step is kind.
Just don't. Super small place food is not what you pay for. My friend did like the sushi but then again likes gas station sushi. I left hungry and around 80.00 out of my wallet. Good side note. The music was awesome.
Asian fusion. Noodle is just ok, spicy oil wontons taste good. But Cha-shao buns are too bad, not crispy and too thick. Overall, all food are just okay, I won’t recommend my friends to come here
The food was okay. But the service is trash. One of the waitresses is stupid. She had a poor service attitude that she didn't even give my friend utensils unless my friend asked for them thousands of times. I ordered a dish three times, and I still didn't have it. She seems she just doesn't want to serve us. It was a horrible experience, and she didn't deserve my respect. If you meet the waitress who wears a pair of black glasses, run. Two stars deduction for the service.
One of the finest sushi and noodle place. I ordered veggie sushi with cream cheese , passion fruit tea and Dan Dan Noodle and was happy with the taste and quantity. Value for the money and staff was very kind.
