I am from California, currently live in Wisconsin. Wienerschnitzels is one of the must stop places to eat. Have enjoyed their hotdogs since I was a kid. Now they have something like a flavored lemonade float. We tried one of them. Man them things are good. We had the watermelon and then the strawberry one. Can't wait for my return trip in November.
I have not been to this place in years! I thought they were all gone. Had to stop. Wish we could have gone in to eat but dinning room closed due to staff shortage. We did do drive thru with a not so friendly employee. The food was great. Just like I remembered. Corn dogs , Chile dogs , fries .. yum !
It had been a long time that I had been there. I loved the Chilli frys,but the Chilli dogs was not like I remembered. They were a little small they use to be bigger. Other than that it was good.
The guy working there sighed at me 2 or 3 times when I asked about a kruat dog and still didn't answer me question. We drove over a hour just to get here. This place can kiss my.... A little customer service goes a long way. Inside seating was closed do to lack of employees. This place needs to close down...
First time there and my chili cheese dogs were perfect! Ask for onions if you want them because they don't put them on unless you do ask. Hubby ordered vegetarian wieners and he was happy with his also. His veggie dogs had onions, pickles, peppers, mustard. The fries were hot and fresh. I just read that you can buy the Wienerschnitzel canned chili sauce for $5 a can there at the restaurant.
Unless you live or work nearby, this to-go only doesn't work. The food (buns and fries) get soggy by the time you get where you're going. It's time you open your dining area again. Other Wienerschnitzel locations around Texas have.

Best item hands down is the corn dog bites. Will you regret eating here? Maybe. But will you eat here again? Yes.
I have been eating DerWienersnitzel since I was a kid and the taste is the same. Great tasting hot dogs.
