The cashier was cool. He made sure my order was done right and it came out hot n fresh. So I have no complaints. They did change the hours now...Mondays (closed) Tues thru Sunday (i think) are: 7am-2pm.
My cinnamon raisin bagel with butter was delicious and the coffee was good too. They need to clean up the area where the milk and sugar is. It gave the place and uncared-for feeling. I had to ask for a new cup because I was handed a cup that had dirt or coffee grinds all over the rim of it. The young man who gave me my bagel and coffee cup was kind.
I am beyond thrilled that there is now a North location for Wholy Bagel. We are entirely bagel snobs at my house. My hubby is from the NE and my children are obsessed with "real" NY bagels. These bagels are legit. The real deal. They are boiled and not just bread in a bagel shape. Chewy outside layer, fluffy inside layer.As for toasted or not, that is your choice. If you're a fan of a schmear, try the Texas loaded. Add it to a salt bagel for what we call "the baked potato bagel."The staff here is so hardworking and the atmosphere is just what you'd expect from a legit bagel shop.PS - The "bakers" dozen here is a "Texan dozen" which means 12=14. That's some good bagel math.
Good bagels here. I wish they had a location up north Austin, but still worth the drive!
This is a great neighborhood bagel joint. My family and I frequent this place often. The food is good quality and not overpriced. My favorite is the jalapeño cheddar bagel.
I love Wholy Bagel, Both locations are great, I live south but work north so I go to both, parking is a little more difficult off far west, but it’s worth it! I love to get there nova lox on an everything bagel. It’s pretty much the only thing I get, and it’s amazing! I’ve mixed up the bagels and cream cheeses though, and I’ve bought multiple bagels and cream cheese in bulk as well, and they are all amazing. I’ve also had bites of all their sandwiches and I love them. The sandwiches are much more expensive of course, but they’re quality and that really matters to me, and they’re worth the cost.
Quick bite to eat. Bagels were good and cream cheese was very fresh. Friendly service and good selection of sandwiches.
This is almost a quaint little shop. It's small and airy. No menu hovering overhead--just bagels for you to see. (Menus are provided.) They have a terrific selection of cream cheese to choose from.My bagel had a perfect chew, was light (not dense), and had a light outer crust. It also had ample cream cheese (which I requested on the side--not their normal procedure!). I'll definitely be back.
Their steak bagel is impressive. I love this place even though its far from home. They do simple right. I love the freshness of the ingredients as well.
