What a great wine program and the staff are very knowledgeable. From the Champagne to the Oregon Pinot I was over joyed to discover new producers and see how many great wines were available. I will be back for the three course lunch! What a deal.

Beautiful place with brilliant food!

Wonderful wines and delicious food!

The staff os amazing. The hostess was so friendly and chatted with us. She was so awesome. Our server was super. He was well versed on the menu and most importantly the wine. However the food was just okay. Given the prices I expected flavorful meals. The cheese and charcuterie board was really plain with what it think was a deli meat. The salads we had were not great. I had the Greek salad which consisted on 90% tomatoes, 40% cucumber and some feta. I was expecting a true Greek salad with olives and flavor and some sort of lettuce. I love the interior and vibe but the menu fell flat. Also, if you are a vegetarian, this place is not for you. Would be great if they added some pizzas and more substantial salads. The main courses were really really pricey. I know it’s west lake but too pricey and fancy for this space.

This was my 3rd or 4th visit and this was the most disappointing. We bad a few appetizers, some mains and a couple of desserts between 4 of us. The cheese board was average at best. I've had that there before and the cheese on the last one was to die for. We have tried to find the cheese at specialist shops post visit. This time, they tasted like they came from HEB or Randall's out of vacuum packs. Nothing special. The burrata salad was so so. Tiramisu was more cream than a tiramisu and virtually flavorless. The flourless chocolate cake was the highlight for me. Wine was good and my husband said his beef bourgignon was good.

Smelled of strong cigarette smoke and mildew, food took forever, terrible ambiance and felt very dirty.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch at West Lake Wine Bar. The food was wonderful and their menu and knowledgeable staff was able to help us navigate our food allergy (gluten-free celiacs) with their outstanding dishes. We will be back.

This place is amazing! Callie was the best, she guided us through the menu and made excellent pairing suggestions on the wine. We’ll be back (esp for Monday 1/2 price wine bottles).

Great burgers and great wine by the glass selections. Bright and open plan with ample outdoor seating. Westlake needs good dining options and this is a great addition to the area.

This was our 16th Wedding Anniversary. We had previously been to the Westlake Wine Bar two times. We were lucky enough to have Julia each time that we were there. She is an outstanding server. My husband and I never mind paying for an excellent meal. We also were so happy to find a fine dining restaurant so close to our home. On this night, May 6th, 2022 we were happy to not only celebrate our 16th Wedding Anniversary, but go to a Restaurant that we had enjoyed before. My husband has ordered the same thing each time we went there. On the menu it reads: SALMON ,GREEN BEANS, OYSTER MUSHROOM, SHALLOT, AIOLI, DILL GF GRILLED FILET MIGNON MARKET $33 Juliet brought it to my husband. The Salmon was so overdone it was like rubber. There were no Oyster Mushrooms, and no sauce. My husband complained. She said there was a new Chef. She brought my husband another plate. This time there were Oyster Mushrooms, and a butter sauce on the Green Beans. There was no Aioli or Dill GF. It was getting very late at this time. My husband complained again, and we were offered a free desert. We were charged full price, $33 for the Salmon Entree. Juliet was a wonderful server. My husband and I both felt that due to this being such a high end restaurant that a Manager or Chef should have come out and talked to us. Our complimentary desert was like a tablespoon of Tiramisu. We were so very disappointed. As I said in the beginning, we were so happy to have found a wonderful restaurant so close to our house. We in no way want to complain about the service. Julia was wonderful, and was sincerely apologetic. Again, my husband and I both felt like for the price we were paying for that entree, $33, and it being so poor, that we should have had a complimentary meal, someone in management should have come out and talked to us. We go out to eat every week. We also love bringing friends to new places. I’m so disappointed at our experience on our Anniversary, May 6, 2022.
