We had 1/2 salad and 1/2 sandwich combo that the staff suggested...delicious! We had speedy service and delicious lemon cupcakes and a fruit bar that was to die for! Interesting place to buy flowers, plants, candles, bags etc. Don't like coffee, so I can't rate that. Would eat sandwiches or salad again, and try new desserts if ever in the area. This is said to be owned by Sandra Bullock and that she makes decisions about the place. Comfy and hometown feel enjoyed for our lunch.

An absolute must when in Austin! Best truly “fresh” breakfast and lunch.

At first we didn't know this was a restaurant. Being where it is, surrounded by bars, we assumed it was a other bar. Boy were we wrong. After smelling the food that someone else in our hotel brought back, we had to try it. We got the standard breakfast, a biscuit and gravy, and the grits. All of the food was so tasty. It was like the kitchen was full of loving grandma's cranking out their best food. The lattes were also excellent, prepared using their own house made syrups. We will definitely be back.

This is definitely worth the stop. The bakery goods are yummy. Coffee is a local coffee and it’s so good!

My hiking buddy and I had lunch here, enjoyed the food, fresh and filling. Big portions - We could not finish our sandwiches so took the other half with us. The deserts are heavenly! Will be back when we're in this area again ?

Website says they open at 7am so walked miles to get there for opening time to avoid the heat, once we arrived the time on the door says it doesn’t open until 8am. Waited outside until 8am then went back and there was a note saying they now were not opening until 8.30am. No apology when we got inside and the server was obviously in a bad mood and was very unhappy. We just don’t need this when we travelled from the UK. All very unprofessional and unfriendly very disappointing

So excited to hear about this gem from a friend that happened to be visiting the area. Please consider the wait time, as this quaint eatery is in high demand .. as they should be! The entrees were really delicious and taste of fresh farm to table ingredients! The French Toast has an unique crave worthy flare, as does the spicy Shrimp & Grits! We cannot wait to return! ?

Sandwiches, salads, soups and pastries make this a great casual lunch meet up spot.

Delicious sandwiches and pastries, I had the garden sandwich and vanilla cupcake to go. The environment was very serene and the staff was friendly.

Went in for late lunch yesterday. The sandwich I ordered took 25 minutes to make. They also didn’t have the bread that was ordered, which was revealed 12 minutes after I had paid. To top it all off, the bread the sandwich was served with (apparently rye though didn’t taste anything or look like a rye) was stale.I mentioned to one of the workers that my sandwich took 25 minutes to make and got a blank stare back. Then they mentioned there were a lot of online orders. There were maybe ten other people total at the restaurant (most of whom had been served already), and 4 were in line ahead of me when I arrived. So this wasn’t some huge lunch rush or anything. Maybe hire more workers to handle the online orders? Or prioritize people who are actually there to eat…I remember I used to like this place but man something has gone seriously downhill over the past year.
