Love this place! Our 9 y.o. Grandson absolutely loves Mega Burger.....we love the chili cheese hotdogs.And, they give us a veteran's discount to boot.Fun place, good servers, reasonable prices and great food.Pet friendly on the patio.
This is the second time we've been through the drive thru and we get home and find that we have half filled containers of cold subpar fries, sloppily put together burgers and salads missing ingredients. It's already sad enough for the price of the crispy chicken salad, there's hardly any chicken, but continuously to say in the microphone extra cheese and get home with none is upsetting.. No tomatoes, just cabbage, carrots 3lettuce. DO BETTER! Before I come back, something needs to be doneI'm feeding a family of 5, both times.
What a great place and an incredible owner! Very clean. Nice food. Affordable. Friendly. A well-calibrated soda machine for a *real* bubbly drink (yes, you never take that for granted in a fast food restaurant!). I used to stop by for dinner when I was staying over at a friend's place. The owner would go for great lengths to make you feel welcome and happy. He'd always attend to any doubts and when knew I was new to town just offered extra salad on the house. I loved this place and would definitely get back to it when visit town again.
You must order a shake or malt when you come here! They are terrific!The hotdogs are really good. They split them when they grill them; makes them hold your toppings better. They are always served with a fresh, soft bun.Hamburgers are always grilled nicely and are juicy. And there are a lot of different choices on the menu. I prefer a basic hamburger, but a friend tells me a bacon cheeseburger is superior! Either way, they always turn out just right.
Wally's is an Austin treasure. Some of the best fast food in the city. The menu has something for everyone. Great burgers, fries, shakes, and a lot more.
Wally's is a locally owned family oriented burger shop with great burgers, amazing chicken strips as well as hot dogs. This place is very clean and the service was amazing! They are community supporters and if you have not been there you need to even if it's to check out the old styl dining car that its modeled after. The milkshake that is our favorite is the Butter Pecan!
I was so surprised how good my shake and soup was. This is not fast food quality food at all. Much better. Very good.
DOPE! Hard to pick one favorite item on the menu. Chicken tenders with gravy and fries are some of the best. Get you a wallybanger to top it all off.
