Food is amazing the cook is awesome always had a smile !!! The wait staff and fast and hustlers .. The plates are well worth it , the serving is actually enough for two .. glad we made it over there great choices wish I could of tipped everyone of them god bless you all great job !!!!’
I do nor remember her name but she was phenomenal. She wore the waitress, cook, buss person and manager hats all at the same time. We her last table and we were treated well. No shortcuts whatsoever at 500am. Very impressed. Not sure of how well she is compensated but she should be taken care of handling one of the worst scenarios that she could have been dealt with class and grace and professionalism. Thank you and well done.
I came here because my hotel was nextdoor and not serving food. (Short staffed) I decided to give Waffle House one more try. I had a bad experience at one in Atlanta many years back.Now I'm in Austin and this is one hard working team. I counted 7 employees running this show and they are very hard working. They are hustling to clean the tables, counter tops, preparing food and delivering it quickly. I am impressed with their quality professionalism and speed to accommodate this busy restaurant!One gentleman who did not give his name saw what I am seeing and paid for the entire counter top. (As I'm typing this review.Food is stereotypical.
love the House! waitress was super sweet and attentive. food hot and delicious. super clean. only one grumpy old guy lurking in and out of the back room… overall totally worth the 2 hour drive.
Only 2 people working. That poor staff. The waitress was friendly, but she was the only one working the floor. Place was packed so she didn't really get a chance to be attentive. Only one cook so obviously the food took awhile to come out. I don't blame them, they did the best they could. And no manager on duty.
Probably won't be back for the food, tables were not wiped off and were sticky. For a place called the Waffle House you think there'd be more waffles on the menu.The service was absolutely phenomenal! The server was very conscientious and patient with us, made quality suggestions in food choices. Customers were greeted as soon as they walked in.
Wonderful waffles, Pecan waffles, bacon, hash browns and eggs! Very reasonably priced too.
Waffle House isn't a restaurant. It's an experience. A ride. One that changes with each passing hour.The food is always consistent. Delicious! Not nutritious. The staff is inconsistent and different, haha. That's part of the Waffle House experience!
You have a sign that says open for 24 hours but I walked in on a Thursday morning at 5 am for breakfast an was told their not serving anything at the time. The place was empty and they was staying around. If there's something going on they need to put a sign on the door letting people know their not serving during certain times. Instead of people walking in an a woman with a attitude telling you...
We had signed our name for a table and patiently waited for about 30-45 min… the cashier was already arguing with customers beforehand, then by the time passed there were about six tables open to sit but they were not cleaned yet, we could see they were short handed so we still waited patiently, by the time we were ready to be served the cashier was being rude and automatically pulled a race card (we are Latino by the way) on us saying we were being “disrespectful” because they didn’t have their card machine but we had cash and was ready to pay with that either way, we were ready to cooperate but I believe the cashier was stressed through out with the other customers already and just took it out on us remaining customers who were patiently waiting. The dishwasher starting getting involved and tried stirring up the pot but thankfully The cook who was working very hard wanted to take our order but the cashier was refusing to serve us. So unfortunately we were not able to order due to the cashier and we left. It is very unfortunate that we could not get served and we were patiently waiting. I hope that cashier realized that we were just wanting to eat and cause no problems.
