This resort is one of the best in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down.Excellent service at the pool bar! First off, I've been Titanium Elite for years, and I requested a corner room upgrade at The W prior to arrival and the points were deducted from my Bonvoy account. I was in an accident the previous week and wanted the tub for soaking in the evening. Upon check-in I was told no corner upgrade rooms were available that week. Later that day two of my male peers were both provided corner upgrade rooms without asking, one was Titanium Elite and the other is a lower level Bonvoy. I can't believe this Marriott property treats single women guests like this! Since there was no material in the room stating hour of the restaurant/pool/spa, I asked the staff about hours of operation, but the two individuals at the front desk were unable to answer. I went to the spa multiple times, but nobody was available at the spa desk either, so I was unable to use those facilities during my stay. The hotel is purposely kept dark, which is a little strange. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, however, the sheets did not cover the whole bed and had holes. The furniture was trying to be modern chic but was uncomfortable. The shampoo/conditioner were Bliss products, but were old and smelled bad.

Overall the place is great! Great location, rooms are sizable and nice. Lobby is inviting, lounge and restaurant are very cool and nice. The one aggravation is we went to the restaurant and sat at the bar, hostess said someone shoul be at the bar shortly and no one otherwise acknowledged us. Hostess didn't go let anyone know we were there, someone came behind the bar to refill something...didn't acknowledge us so we left and went to Cru up the street.
Spent a week there for a business conference.Conference facilities on the second floor were very nice and modern.Nice lobby and barGreat gym and spaGood location next to the Colorado RiverMy room was well appointed but tight.Bathroom had a “death shower” that was basically a three foot high square tub that you could not take a bath in unless you squatted down. (Imagine normal rectangular tub floor dimensions but cut it in half.). The “death” moniker is because it is a three foot wall to climb into and out of the shower. If you do not use the handicapped bar that is placed vertically on the wall, you will kill yourself getting into the tub. Getting out of the tub when wet is even worse since the floor of the tub is about 3-6 inches higher than the floor of the bathroom. That is not a welcome surprise when you are dripping wet. If you happen to be less than 5-foot tall, bring a step stool. Some of my Co-workers had this same tub design but the other half did not.
Not the Best W! Still a quality location, but the JW is significantly nicer room quality. Price about the same unless the JW has a convention in town. As always quality linens and towels and good shower water pressure. The suite was decently equipped and had nice balcony furniture that was very comfortable. Balcony is tight and not very spacious.
Great location, helpful and welcoming staff. Even on an evening where they were almost fully committed they were kind enough to indulge me and switch my suite to one which had great sentimental value, after losing my partner. I greatly appreciative!!!Some of the corner suites offer great views of town lake. I also, if you're able i also highly recommend watching the sun rise over the water. It's incredibly tranquil, peaceful and one of my cherished past times with my partner before his passing.
Parked at The W Hotel to visit a friend. The valets Collin and Jordan were quickly attentive, friendly and gave some good food recommendations for lunch. Will definitely use the wheels service again at The W.
