Amazing Omakase experience, 10/10 would recommend. The sushi chef was very friendly and answered all the questions I had. As for the sushi, wow, I am truly speechless. Each piece of the 12 course meal was unique, full of flavor, and highlights the freshness of all the ingredients used. This experience is 100% worth it and a steal at this price point.

Really yummy sushi wraps! The lunch crowd can be pretty tough and expect a bit of a wait, but it is well worth it. Very affordable too. It’s a very unassuming establishment, but you can tell they put a lot of love, care, and attention in the preparation of the dishes.

Husband and I had a great time! Complex flavor profiles, fresh fish, and very creative plating. Every bite was delicious and I loved the light shiso leaf under the pieces. Great textures paired with the right amount of rice and chew. The only con? We wanted to order more but the inventory is limited since the fish is imported from Japan lol great amount of nigiri for the omakase price point. We're from NYC (native, born and raised) and this is comparable to NYC quality and the express sushi joints there. I would say, it's better than Sushi by Bou (a similar sushi bar) in NYC. I'm sure we will be back!

Chill vibes and good food. Temaki/handroll is supposed to be a casual food, where you will find in convenience store. Uroko delivers sophisticated flavors without crazy $$$ tag.

One of the best small omakase in town! The variety was phenomenal and each bite left me wanting more.

Awesome hand rolls from the Kome folks. The salmon and yellowtail toro, along with spicy tuna and miso soup.

Really good quick, counter-serve style sushi place that serves everything in the cone style sushi roll. I paid about $32 after tip for 3 of the rolls and they were delicious!

This place used to be good. One of our favorite places for temaki (hand rolls) and casual omakase. Unfortunately, over the course of the pandemic and the current situation with inflation and workforce shortage, they have slid downhill. Not consistent anymore. We got their omakase to-go few months ago and half the fish was not-fresh. Look at the picture. Its 2 sets of omakase. The uni (2nd row, 2nd from left) and bluefin tuna (1st row, 6th from left) are not fresh at all. Recently we went for temaki lunch on a Sunday, and their blue-fin tuna temaki was visibly stale and tasted so. It's very unfortunate. Uroko has a big loyal following. We supported them through the pandemic and went regularly for takeout. The owners could have raised prices, which they have, but they have failed to maintain quality. Looks like, they are prioritizing the success of their other sit-in restaurants like Kome and Sa-ten and letting Uroko slide.

I am truly impressed by how authentic this Sushi place is! In Japan, temaki-zushi is what we make for a small party or even family dinner. We don’t make typical sushi at home—historically only men (culinary artists; sushi chefs) were allowed to make sushi. Anyway, the temaki-zushi in Uroko reminded me of my childhood in Tokyo. Great ingredients, eye pleasing, balanced with vegetables. Reasonable price, five stars!!!

Ordered the omakase for 2, and can safely say this is the best nigiri I've had. Well worth the price. Even as a takeout item, the menu guides you through the pieces as if you were getting the full service. Will absolutely be returning someday.
