Easily one of the most Instagrammable restaurants & bars in downtown Austin. The staff here is amazing and friendly, the volume of the music isn't too loud so you can carry on with your friends without having to shout or repeat yourself, the drinks are a strong pour, and the food is divine. I highly recommend going during Happy Hour to socialize with friends or colleagues.
We held my daughter’s graduation party here. Making reservations was not simple. We responded to manager with our date request and did not hear back for some time. When we did hear back, he sent us a new menu with raised prices. We did the private buffet. Since it was lunchtime, we did not meet our minimum- which was very high. The automatic gratuity was also extremely high. That being said, the food was delicious, the ambience was great and everyone had a good time. We lucked out and a cool front came through the night before so the weather was perfect for an outdoor brunch. We were very happy with how everything turned out.
Upstairs at Caroline is a perfect spot to have either an intimate conversation or hang out with friends. The environment facilitates conversation, as there are multiple seating areas with games throughout. This is a dog friendly establishment, but I was one of the few with my dog. The staff were attentive to our needs and made sure my dog was also comfortable. I was extremely appreciative of how kind and attentive the staff was. The food on the other hand was mediocre, but there were multiple happy hour promotions. The environment was perfect for a cool summer evening with an indoor outdoor flex space. I will definitely be returning with my pup!
It was my first time upstairs. Jeremy and Harold and the other guys behind the bar were awesome and funny! The $2 tacos went beyond my expectations. I will definitely make another appearance to taco Tuesday. The frozen blood orange margarita was perfect.
Great rooftop bar on congress. It is above a hotel so very busy. Mostly millennials looking to have a good time. The bartenders were friendly and attentive even though it was very busy. My drink was good and very reasonably priced for a rooftop.
Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Sat outside on the patio for a couple cocktails and some snacks. Their options for gluten free and vegan were very limited, but I eat everything so that wasn’t too much of a concern for myself, but my friends struggled to find things that worked.Other than that, the drinks were really good!
Had the brisket chicken and pork tacos. Liked the brisket and chicken the best. Queso and quacamole was good. Drinks were good to
As soon as we arrived Marissa was warm and welcoming. We travel with a service animal so we often have to educate staff on the laws regarding them. She saw his vest and respected it.She brought him a frozen yogurt as a treat and make sure he had water.Throughout the entire time we were here Marissa made sure we had everything we needed! Our drinks were never empty and we placed multiple food orders because she was so attentive!Marissa is a gem!
The food was limited, but the staff and food seemed better than downstairs. I would go here and recommend to anyone.
Casual vibe, excellent priced happy hour menu. Must visit (either for a HH or as a night lounge) if you are staying in downtown.
