Rachel did a great job serving us as well as the other Uchi staff!! The 10 course Chef tasting menu and sake pairings were amazing!! Great experience as always!!

We had heard it was the best to go to and having traveled to 56 countries this restaurant totally lived up to the positive reviews. Service was outstanding, food was the same the only Very slight negative for us, was we had one who had hearing aids and this made it difficult for her. This would not stop me booking this again. Highly recommended.

This meal might be our 5th or 6th one at UCHI and the food, as always, is exquisite and exceptional ! But this time, the service experience was poor. We were seated at our table at 8.15pm and we ordered our meals by 8.25~8.30pm. We ordered non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes. It was 9.10 pm nearly 40 + mins and our vegetarian order hadnât come out ! We asked our server Ms. Malarie when would our food come out and instead of apologizing for this inordinate delay she replied âthe kitchen is busy. They are preparing your dishes.â Okkayy. This is UCHI, Austinâs no. 1 restaurant and top Ten Japanese restaurants in USA. the kitchen of course will be busy but the food at UCHI always comes out in 10-15 mins and this is from our past 5~6 experiences. I guess we were wrong to ask about our food after 42 mins of ordering. Also, itâs very easy to spot our servers âforced smileâ. Oh we miss Shireen. She was awesome.
Probably our 10+ trip to "Uchi" restaurants, and once again amazed. Waiter did a great job picking dishes. Gonna be 11+ soon.
We frequently come to Uchi and have never had an experience that is anything short of incredible. The service is always top notch, Yuni was fantastic, and every single bite of food we ate was fantastic. We love coming here for our special occasions and canât wait to be back!
Just Superb, every dish was marvelous and the staff was even better. Kat, our server, did a fantastic job putting together a menu that gave us a taste of everything. Loved it!
Food was mostly great but Hostess was very rude. Berated us for not reserved a table for 3 for our 2 month old that obviously wasnât eating or occupying a chair.
