$26 for tacos and a drink for one person. I can see why they didn’t make the price clear beforehand. If you’re looking for more casual food, go somewhere else.
We decided to go here because it was one of the few food places that was open after a Tuesday night ACL event . Just as other reviews mentions, this place is expensive . Two fried shrimp Po-boys and a side of Cajun curly French fries was about 60 dollars, with tip . Po boy was about an 8/10. Fresh vegetables, good bread. Shrimp could have been a little more meaty and maybe better with a different breading , but very decent . French fries came out hot and fresh. 8/10 also.I was mostly impressed with the service . One gentlemen was so good at anticipating our needs , keeping us informed, and just doing his job well. Always going above and beyond .I recommend if you are close by.
My god, I had no idea this place existed and it’s be been here 6 years. The best seafood in town, and the best fish taco I’ve ever had.The red snapper blackened on a taco was phenomenal, you get an entire fish in one of the extremely large tacos. Affordable and amazing
No parking food was so expensive 60$ for four fish tacos and two iced teas, not sure why so many good reviews was a bland pc of fried fish in store bought tortilla with ranch, red onion, lettuce and cilantro
Very very good catfish po' boy. Flying in from CA, I was hankering for good southern food. Hush puppies were delighted AND they had Heche en Mexico Coke liters! So good.
Drove an 1hr and 45min to just get here, such an amazing place, love the atmosphere, the food DELICIOUS!!!! Them wings and nachos are the best nachos ever, fresh crispy wings I got, and watering fat full nachos made perfect, definitely coming back, and telling everyone about y’all ? money well spent ??
The blackened mahi-mahi was good but the blackened snapper was just okay, not enough flavor. The red beans and rice had a nice flavor.
Great place I usually go to a place multiple times until I leave a review and each thing I’ve had so far has been great. The Cajun ribeye , fried tilapia , and pulled pork with tangy mango sauce all are so good, Mac and cheese is usually always on point to except last time I think they used a replacement which was ok, also only reason for 4 stars is poboy is in the name and with the history of the sandwich it shouldn’t be so expensive, but overall great place amazing food and great bar next door
Hands down some of the best food in Austin ?
I went here the other day for lunch, the blackened catfish was very good although a bit on the salty side, the mac & cheese and the coleslaw was also very good, it was a bit on the spendy side but still had a very good experience with the restaurant.
