I’ve ordered from Tso’s once or twice a week (always two dishes per order & often with an app) for the last few months. I’ve appreciated their prompt, friendly delivery, ease of ordering, and their stand alone vegan menu. Up until now, they’ve been consistent. I ordered two of the same vegan dish yesterday &, just after the end of one, I noticed a chunk of meat in the ‘vegan’ dish. I couldn’t tell you what it was as I’ve not eaten animals in over 32 years. Of course, I was immediately nauseous & felt sick to my stomach. I tossed the second order. I immediately contacted Tso’s &, after an inordinate wait, they responded with a generic, copy & paste response. They did not refund the order despite me vomiting up the first & throwing out the second. I have lauded Tso’s but would not recommend them to anyone at this point. I will never order from them again nor have anything pleasant to say about the business in the future.
Everything was delicious! We got Orange chicken (mild) w/fried rice and Beijing Beef, veggie spring rolls and Potstickers. I needed to modify my order after I placed my online order and we called the establishment and they were kind enough to modify it. Delivery is free which is cool, but we chose to pick it up. Definitely ordering from here again.
Finally! A Chinese restaurant that actually tastes good! Lol. There is no dine-in, it is only take-out or delivery. For me, that's the only draw back, but other than that, I was very happy with the food I ordered. I had the eggplant tofu and I was impressed. VERY flavorful. The sauce was not too heavy, like some other places have it. It was very light and had a great taste. You can customize your order online as well. You can adjust the spice level, add other items to the meal (such as broccoli), couple different options of what type of rice you want with it.I will definitely go back and try other items on their menu.
Pretty disappointing. I was excited about the ease of ordering and no-fuss business model (no tipping or delivery fees), but ultimately I ended up wishing I ate somewhere else. The delivery took 90 minutes which feels a little crazy as I’m only a couple miles away and didn’t order at a peak time. The food was bland and the chicken was…. pretty gross. Won’t be ordering from here again.
Always amazing. Always delivered hot and fresh, never had issues, and the delivery drivers are always very friendly. they will straight up refuse a tip, it’s wild! They must really enjoy the job. Keep it up y’all. I will continue to recommend you to everyone I know who loves great food.
Second time ordering, first time with delivery - super easy experience, fast delivery (carry out was equally fast and easy!). Food was great, arrived warm and without spills. Would order again for a simple satisfying experience!
They under promise and over deliver. The service to my door was as described and the time was quick (be sure to give good instructions) and the food was some of the best Chinese I have ever tasted on this side of the hemisphere. Great job!
Pretty bland all around. I tried something new and got the orange chicken I usually get combo fried rice at my standard Chinese place and the orange chicken this time looked good. Unfortunately while the sauce was slightly sweet it wasn't spicy at all despite having been made with chili's even in the container with it. The fried rice was dull as well while I appreciate the large chunks of fried egg in it it was also pretty flavorless and could really use some MSG in literally everything. The potsickers filling was ok but again just neutral taste of fried exterior to it being a little chewy. The dipping sauce again was just kind of dull the small scallions in it I tasted more than any salt or soy seasoning of it. The hot and sour soup was the worst thing yet. Again a favorite of mine I feel pretty hard to mess up but it was just sour tasting but negatively I ate only two spoonfuls and was thankful I didn't order a big serving. I'm willing to give the place another shot I appreciate the extra $1-2 for the pricing that pretty much covers what a delivery fee and tip would be but I'm hoping if I give it another shot someone else will be in the kitchen that day.
I LOVE TSO! Food is always delivered hot and on time. Their online ordering system is ridiculously easy and their drivers are always nice. Unlike most restaurants these days, they utilize their own delivery service and don't charge ridiculous fees for the delivery. I'd also like to note that I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they label their gluten free foods and you can typically make most of their dishes gluten free as well simply by clicking a button on the order page. I've eaten there pretty regularly over the last 2 years and have never been glutened ???
Oh! My the food was excellent! Every item…all 7 of the dishes we chose were absolutely delicious!We have finally found our favorite Chinese food in Austin and we will be ordering again and telling all of our friends about TSO Chinese!Tiffany H delivered our food and was great communicating with us along the way!
