Came here for a birthday dinner for my friend. The food was amazing and I absolutely love the ambiance. However our server kept coming to us and I felt rushed and was constantly interrupted in my conversations during dinner, it was uncomfortable and made the whole experience not what we expected. I did not see any other table get interrupted as much as we did.

Anytime I want a great dinner with my wife, I know I can depend on Trulucks to provide it. Have been to both Austin locations and the Colorado street location was fantastic!
Service was extremely slow. Seafood entrees limited to 4 fish entrees and one scallops entree. Prices were high for the overall quality and experience compared to similar restaurants of this type.
Fabulous meal and fabulous service! We love this restaurant! Besides the outstanding lobster bisque - the scallops were to die for! And we had baked alaska for desert!
We love Truluck, we’ve been on many occasions. For the most part it’s always been wonderful. We were there last night celebrating my husband’s birthday, from the moment we walked in, felt very VIP, which we like. They gave us a great table as requested. Our server didn’t really seam to be hitting all cylinders, more like she should be in a more casual setting. We ordered the shrimp cocktail with a shrimp that has fallen over, so certainly not the gourmet look we were hoping for, then we went on to a wedge salad, we had mentioned we would be splitting the salad and lobster bisque, it would have been nice had they pre-split the salad in the kitchen. And of course we had to request additional plate and utensils. I had the sea bass, some of the BEST I’ve had. My husband ordered a filet with crab Louie, the crab meat was overly salty he couldn’t eat it. We also ordered a cream spinach, I’m one of the biggest connoisseur of cream spinach, I was sadly disappointed, we’ve ordered it on numerous has always been amazing, but this time it had hard chunks of parmigiana all throughout which was not my favorite. They did bring out a complementary birthday dessert, which was a nice touch. When it came down to closing out, they boxed up our food in one container like a sloppy mess. Almost as if it was a doggie bag. So I think at this price point we expect a higher quality of service. We will still give it another try, I will just be more specific in my requests next time.
Even though my colleague and I were restricted to $100 per person by our company, we were treated graciously and with respect. We had one cocktail apiece and did not have dessert, but we were treated as if we spent five times as much. My Caesar salad with whole anchovies was delightful, the scallops melted in my mouth, and those mashed potatoes are INSANE!! Thank you for a lovely dinner during a business trip when both of us would rather be home with our families. You made us feel like family!
The waiter was very pushy about the high price menu items. Overall we had a good experience though.
Great experience as always and wonderful staffing. Everyone was extremely polite, the manager was constantly checking up on everyone and making fine tweaks throughout the night to make sure everyone was accommodated. 10/10 would recommend. Little on the pricier side but well worth it as all of the flavors were on point.
